Ratanak Resort

Awesome hospitality. Kind and polite, helpful staff. Clean and private comfortable bungalow. Normal breakfast and spectacular view. Definitely recommend.
They provide everything what we need. And coffee was delicious also.

It was REALLY hot.......late April in Cambodia!  We were travelling in eastern Cambodia by moto and we actually had a reservation in Ban Lung City, but we blew it off to get a place with a pool.  How naughty of us!!!  We stayed 2 nights.  It turned out to be worth every penny AND a great deal to boot!  Ratanak Resort is a rambling bunch of bungalows and "tube sleepers" which are like water culverts that have been modified into cheap basic accommodations that are inexpensive. The floral plantings on the property are lush and interesting and the pool is WONDERFUL!   Did I mention that the pool is wonderful?  The room was clean and comfortable with a private porch where it was fun to sit outside. We experienced a raging thunderstorm that night and we felt safe and cozy. The bathroom and facilities were good and the AC worked well and was quiet. The only complaint I had was WiFi was not available in each room (you had to go to the restaurant area).  They said they are bringing that in soon. Cable TV was fine. We had dinner there the 2nd night because of the storm and the Khmer food we had was very well prepared.  breakfasts were off a simple menu which was a nice surprise though the offerings were nothing special.  The staff were friendly and eager to help when approached.

Hotel is close to the city of Banlung. I suggest you rent a scooter in the city and come here with your own transportation. I love this hotel at the night. From here are beautiful stars and local monkeys are so loud :). This hotel is little expensive but we had nice stay there.

We were two nights at BanLung, one in this hotel and another one in Tree Top Lodge. 
This hotel has all the facilities and amenities you need for your days around BL. 
The views from the infinity pool are amazing and the bungalows was clean, spacious and cozy. 
I would highly recommend this hotel for all kinds of tourists (friends, family, couples) 

Very good value for money . Clean rooms, excellent location as the resort is located on a hill top near by the lake . Nice garden well maintained . The pool is one of the highlight of the Resort with his straight view on The sunset . Loved it after long days in the car or around the area. 
The point of improvement really needed is the breakfast and the food  in general - not at the standard of the property 
Breakfast : dry bread , eggs seems like plastic , cooked without salt pepper , square ham .... 
however you must stay in this quiet place when you pass by as it s not located into the city and this is what you want to experienced when visiting Ratanakiri.
