244 reviewsStayed here for three nights on a solo trip around Asia. This is fairly basic accommodation, but very relaxed and welcoming. Run by an Aussie called Scott, with other friendly staff around. Room was fine, with air con and a powerful ceiling fan, and a basic wet room bathroom. All in need of a bit of TLC, but for $25 a night who cares? Breakfast was good (order from a menu - veg omelette with warm baguette and fruit platter was my choice every day as it was so damn good), and they also serve food and drinks throughout the day. Nice pool area out the back - great for unwinding after a hot and sweaty day at the temples. Location is out if the main part of Siem Reap, but I quite liked being away from the rampant western commercialisation. Airport runs and two days of tours arranged by guesthouse, with my guide being a really lovely guy called Tak. As I was on my own the sunset tours were on the back of his motorbike to quiet places south of the city, with the highlight being a pondside location which was pure rural peace - birds, insects, fish, farmers, buffalos and beers. I enjoyed just kicking back at My Home and being relaxed in a backpackery way - made a nice change from hotels.
