Chez Sego has beautiful rooms, very tasteful decoration and art, very comfortable beds and the management and team are simply excellent: always helpful, always friendly. And it's great value for money. 

A tasteful and great place to stay when in Ouagadougouo

I have stayed here twice and will come again, this is a safe haven not too far from the centre. You feel like part of the family, Brigitte is a fantastic host, the rooms are incredibly clean and everything is very eco-friendly.

Just amazing

Stayed 2 nights at €46 a night. Arrived late and let in by security. Wifi password is in room. There is also an "honesty" fridge with water and other drinks in the "lobby" area which I didn't find till the next day. Breakfast was simple. Coffee, juice, yoghurt and half baguette with jam. Taxi fare from airport should be no more than CFA 3,000 (I paid CFA 6,000). Airport pick up is available but somehow our wires got crossed. All staff French speaking apart from Hassan who I found very helpful. CFA 2,000 for taxi to city centre although I ended up walking. Fair way out of the centre but not sure location is overly important. Nice restaurant a few minutes away by taxi at CFA 2,000. Pool was refreshing after a hot day out and about. Mosquitos in the morning and night so come prepared. Room was spacious. Plenty of power points. Bed a foam mattress which was OK. Table and desk and lie down sofa as well. Air conditioning work well. Takes a little while for the hot water to come thru and then not overly strong. Wifi was very poor. All staff were great despite my inability to speak French.

Comfortable enough stay in a city where location isn't so important

I am very pleased to have had the opportunity to visit Chez Sego, and felt sorry to have to leave so soon. The manager Bridget went out of her way to get me oriented so that I could explore Ouagadougou on my own. As shown in the pictures, the grounds are beautiful, featuring the swimming pool along with lush vegetation. Everything worked well including the most important features for me: Wifi and Air Conditioning. The cleanliness was impeccable and all of the staff had a really welcoming demeanor. Chez Sego is located in a quiet corner of the city, safe and great for relaxing, but there are still numerous restaurants which provide delivery to the premises. I do hope to visit again someday!

Picturesque setting and especially helpful manager

When i stayed there i felt completely like at home. 
Staff was compromises of only 4-5 people.
There was a lady, she take care and supervise all the stuff around.
She was very helpful.
Rooms were small but classy, a lot of wood work, and the house is full of trees and grass. Its a complete home. A little swiming pool, and good sit in area.
They offer a small but very good breakfast, a mango, a juice, some breads, yougurt, butter jam, coffee or tea.
If you want to eat they can cook for u or else they can order for u from a nearby restaurant.
Rooms dont have Tv you have to come t lobby to see.
They have amazing wifi, and the atmosphere inside is amazing, with trees all around and sweet sound of birds in the morning and evening as well.
Very good prices too.



Home in Abroad..!!

Since my first stay at Chez Sego in 2015 I have returned on several trips. The place is beautiful, service is great, the rooms are pretty, the fact that they have a solar powered back up is amazing. And Brigitte and Hassan are great hosts.
I have stayed at several other guest houses in Ouaga (and would highly recommend all of them: Chez Giuliana, Yiri Suma, Benoua Lodge) but this is currently my favourite. I guess it is because of the beautiful garden and the pool, which however small, does make a difference on a hot day in Ouaga. I will definitely keep returning.
