It was very easy to book a room. The owner was extremely nice and also provide us with parking space. The room was clean , spacious and quiet. 10 min walking from Tsarevets and the view from the balcony was amazing. Cant recommend enough.

We are from Bucharest and a night before we decided to have a spontaneous trip to veliko. We stayed one night only. It was really affordable, the room is not the most luxurious one but it's suitable for a short stay. In the room we had croissants free of charge, it was nice because we were quite hungry. It's right in the center, we liked it and we recommend it.

Great location

The rooms are clean, nice, with tv, wi-fi. All you need for a god trip in this city. The owner is taking care of all your needs. No card pay, only cash, but the view is great. Parking is dificult, but not impossible. 

The view

First time here, the place is great the room  also. The room we get have a nice view on the main street and city. Is clean.  And the host is a great person. A little problem whit the car parking but we solve fast. 
We ll be back for sure. 

Free week-end 

One of the few hosts in Bulgaria who can talk in English, and besides he is super nice. He even offered us breakfast, frugal but not included in the price. That is the generous intention that counts! No particular decoration but a large room with living room, TV, air conditioning, refrigerator and boiler room. A large, very clean bathroom. The last glass on the balcony was very nice after a very good meal at EGO pizzeria, recommended by Tsvetan. Don't be mistaken it is the one on the right. On the left they are much less inviting.

Friendly with a fantastic view!

We had a good stay here.  It started out a bit rough the first night when we were shown to a really small and bright orange room (the one I had booked).  It was late, so we just went to sleep and decided to deal with it the next day.  The following morning wpaid the $5 upcharge and switch to a balcony room.  It was so much better.  Spacious, bright and airy, a few extra square feet can sometimes make a big difference.  The manager was so nice, just really easy going and there to help.  Wifi is so-so and on a public network.  We had some issues with the front door - it's difficult to lock and seems unsafe to have to lock yourself into both the building and then a hotel room, should there ever be a fire or need to leave quickly.  Still a great value, even with the slightly higher cost.

Location, management, rooms

I would highly recommend this hotel! It's based in the town centre but up a cobbled street. Lovely and quiet during the night but very difficult to find initially!

The owner was wonderful. You won't find hospitality like his in any other hotel. He knew the town well and recommended good places to visit. When we were slightly lost, he called to give directions which was very nice!

Thankfully, room had air conditioning! Very pleasant stay for a very reasonable price!

The hotel owner was very friendly, he met us, he hosted us, he explained everything! We had a clean, spacious, cozy room with a view of the city. And the view of the city is really beautiful, especially in the evening when the lights are on. There is a small refrigerator, a teacup and a TV in the room. There are various restaurants, cafes, places to eat and things to see.

It's a great hotel.

The room was the largest, the studio, the windows to the central street, clean, the owner of the hotel periodically called us on the way, met us, helped to park the car without looking at the late hour. The hotel is conveniently located, everything is within walking distance - sights, cafes, shops. Attention to the drivers of the car, the navigator can drive on the short road, the streets are very narrow, two cars will not break apart, it's better on the normal road around, it will be faster. You can park near the hotel quietly, early in the morning when you leave the car of a local resident, but we managed to pull out. Good luck to the owner!

It's a great hotel, it's in a good location.

The hotel is located in the historic center of the city, 10 minutes' walk to the fortress. There are many restaurants and cafes on foot. The hotel is very hospitable, speaks excellent Russian and English. There is a parking lot near the hotel, the owner helps to park.
