39 reviewsWhile transiting Bulgaria we stopped for 1 night in Stara Zagora mid way. The hotel is in a quiet area and still very close to the center, 5 min walk (with a 5 years old kid with us). We booked a triple room which was very large, clean with a comfortable huge bed and pillows, very clean and large bathroom, the stay was very pleasant. The second bed for the kid though was quite unstable due to mattresses though so we decided to sleep all in the same bed, which was not a problem due to large size. The breakfast opened at 7:00 but they served me with espresso much earlier in the morning. The breakfast was standard, with eggs, omelette, selection of cheese, plain yoghurt, milk and 3 types of cereals for the kids, all simple and easy. There is a small parking area in front of the hotel, free of charge. In the evening we took a walk to the city center which proved a great thing to do as just few blocks away we found a great green park, with playground for kids, and ice cream shops but also a pedestrian walk with terraces and restaurants. Is good to have local currency on you and there an ATM in the area. Very nice experience, I might consider stopping again if ever in the area.
