The place is nice, but with too many hotels for its size. Because of this it's overcrowded. The beach is too small for all the people. You have to wait long every time you need a cart to transport your luggage (cars are not allowed within the complex). The room we stayed in (Royal Park Hotel) had broken door lock and the air conditioning was not working, because of missing sensor on the balcony door. However, the room had a beautiful view and the room, it was spacious and comfortable. The food was OK, though nothing special. The problem is that you have to wait long on the queues. 
It's best to stay there during the low season when there are fewer people. 

Nice place, but very crowded, poor organization

we traveled to this Bulgarian sea resort at the end of August 2014, with my husband, my older son and my 4-years old daughter. they stopped our car and the entrance to the resort, saying that we have to pay upfront for the parking for the entire stay, which was about $9 per day (a lot!!) - which we hadn't been aware of. All the payments are made in local currency, so be prepared to stop somewhere on the way to Elenite and exchange at least $200 at a good rate. There is a small open air market around there and your kids will want you to spend some cash for sweets/coke/toys etc. So, I had to leave my family in the parking lot and walk to the reception, which is about 150 away, and sort out the check in. it was good that they could give us 2 adjacent rooms, as we booked 2 double rooms. rooms were spacious, but basic, both with balconies, but had only partial sea view. the territory of the hotel is nice, with a lot of space, it is pretty green and clean, which is the only thing we liked about the hotel. Now, here is a list of things that we didn't like: - the bed linen was terrible, there was only a simple bed sheet over the mattress, which was quite annoying and we couldn't sleep with the proper comfort. Forget about starched bed linen, and in the morning you'll find it all scrambled in the middle of the bed. The towels were all old and not all of them were clean. On the 4th day, I noticed that the maids never replaced the missing free toiletries (shampoo, shower gel and hair conditioner) and asked her to do so. At first she refused, saying that the free toiletries are given only once, on the first day...I traveled the world around and never heard anything more stupid than that, and we are talking about a "4-star" hotel! I said nothing in return, just smiled as I was amused of the idea, and she gave me a shampoo (!) so I thanked her:) On our last day the maid woke us up at about 8:40 am - I asked her to come back later, as  usual, but she never bothered to show up again. Internet: for a fee in the room, free wi-fi in at the reception, but horribly slow!! Food is a separate story: the worse hotel restaurant ever...don't touch the juice from the dispensers, they are all synthetic, except for the apple juice, I believe. They have 2 sittings, but there are huge lines anyway, and food disappears in an eye blink. if you want omelette or fried eggs in the morning, be prepared to spend quite some time in the line. No real meat, with a few exceptions, and that was mixed with some vegetables, usually overcooked. Usually it's processed meat (meatballs) that tastes weird. People could kill you for a couple of simple pancakes. Pizza with sausage and black olives/corn was okay, but it was funny to see pizza with a mix of processed meat and local cow cheese. Fruit (watermelon, grapes and sometimes oranges of a pretty bad quality), like everything else that might be at least a little bit appealing to your stomach, disappears so quickly, that you have to literally hunt for it. no espresso/natural coffee for breakfast, but you may get it from the lobby bar. I was really disturbed that the tableware was not washed properly, you could easily get a dirty plate/cup/fork, etc...we all hated the food and the way the whole process is handled there. Even though you wear an all-inclusive bracelet, they are asking for the meal card upon entering the dining place. on the 3rd day of our stay, I tried to make a reservation at any a-la-carte restaurant they had, but they said that there was nothing available through the end of our stay there. From all they served there, there were only a few items we liked: the local beer, the ice-cream (if you could find a clean spoon to get some), the tomatoes, the bulgarian cow cheese - that was it! My husband got stomach-sick after having a few meatballs with pasta and he couldn't eat anything for a couple of days. The beach: the one that was free of charge was way too small for this huge hotel complex and always overcrowded, even at 7 am, and if you want to have a spot on the beach at all, it is for a fee. Our previous vacation was in Sunny Beach, which is next to Elenite, the hotel was a basic bed and breakfast, but we loved dining outside, the food was excellent, affordable, fresh and tasty, and there was a plentiful of places you could choose from. I would NOT recommend you to go for an all-inclusive option in Bulgaria - you will be disappointed with the extremely low service at a pretty high cost.

Ellenite holiday park is a big complex with 4 big hotels and villas. Each has own reception and canteen so it very much depends were will you exactly stay!

ROOMS
We stayed in villa close to the reception. It was ok, very basic equipment with double bed and bunk high bed for kids and with quite big terrace without see view. It had very dirty bathroom, watter always stayed on floor and we couldnt let it out unless we used towels (some mop or broom would be usefull..). We had to pay about 30 eur extra for safety locker for 6 days and wifi was not free as well. We received some beach towels with wholes and yellow marks.

GUESTS
Everywhere lots of Bulgarians, Russians and guests from other ex-Russian countries (Moldovia, Belarusia, Ukraine etc.)

FOOD
Horrible and very unhealthy cheap food - margarine instead of butter, ketchup made with emulgators, lots of old rotten fruit etc. I didnt know what to select for kids. We were mostly on vegetables, salads, fruits and rice or chips, everything else looked disgusting. Dont think you will help yourself with going to a la carte restaurant (1 visit is included for free) - you will get 80% of the same food from main buffet just covered with some cheap decoration.

SWIMMING
Sea was nice, warm but partially with big stones (watter shoes highly recommended) and in the beginning with marine algaes. Swimming pools were nice and Aquapark as well - kids enjoyed it a lot.

SERVICE
In the reception was very kind older blond lady. Didnt speak so well English but was always helpfull. Rest of all staff in reception, restaurants and cafes was always in bed mood and not kind at all. 

ANIMATIONS
Very good friendly team, there were animations in different places all day but we didnt attend them. Kids liked  the evening kids shows very much. One evening there was also Arabian bazaar and show with firemen show, belly dancers etc.
