I read the tripadvisor reviews prior to booking and found it hard to believe them. However they were true. George is a marvellous host , very welcoming and generous with his homemade raki. The rooms ( we were in 1A) are simple but have everything you need - storage, warmth, comfortable bed and hot water. Breakfast was a little different - hard boiled egg, cheese, drop pancakes and jam. We only had this once as there are many places in town for more conventional foods. The hotels location is good for the modern town as well as the old one. Thank you George.

Comfortable and welcoming

Our experiance was great from start to finish papa george the owner couldnt have done anymore to make our stay more comfortable,

From making the breakfast which was very noce to having the sauna ready for us to return to after a day of boarding to help with the aches, also some home remedies with his milk to help moisturise the dry skin was a nice and humerous touch.

 plus the resort was great also has something for everyone.

Very friendly owners, clean rooms and great location. 10 min walk to gondola, 5 min walk to the old town. Truly beautiful place to visit.
If you are skiing, I recommend Pirin2000 for equipment and lessons, I also recommend Assen as your instructo- the best out there.


Great for families 

We visited in Feb 2022 with our family of 4. My 6 year old was immediately greeted and given a guided tour of the place by Georgi the owner. He was the warmest most loveliest genuine guy and made us feel like we were extremely welcome. He was giving my little boy treats all throughout our stay and the two of them had a real bond. It was sweet and you could see that this was just a genuine guy being himself. We had an apartment and a deluxe room and both were comfy and well equipped and spotlessly clean. We couldn't believe that even the cleaner did our dishes that we planned to do after skiing. Its a short walk to the town and on a lovely street. It really is a little gem of a place that we will for sure return to. The rooms were very warm and the balconies were a bonus. I thoroughly enjoyed a beer on the balcony after a hard day on the slopes. Stay here, you wont regret it! Incredible staff, the nicest owner ever (George) is a talented painter and wood carver and showed us around his workshop. It was a delight! The rooms are beautiful, spacious, very clean and great breakfast. The family who owns this property are so helpful and sweet. There’s a room to store ski equipment and even plastic sleds for the little ones. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely come back! 

The best hotel ever!!!

Amazing place with wonderful hosts. Owners are local people. It is a lovely friendly family - parents with their 2 smiley daughters. Many of the furniture are hand made. The father is making them in the workshop on the ground floor(ask them to show you the place ;) ). They serve home made food for breakfast which varies depending on the season. They speak English and can farely expain you which restaurants you can visit and what else you can do in the city. They know very well the mauntain so can give you advice where you can go for hiking/skiing. Sometimes they even go with the guests.

Our stay at this beautiful family hotel was short but very pleasurable. The owner, Gyorgy, is the most caring host one can imagine, the hotel spotlessly clean, very well located and more than affordable.

Amazing!

We enjoyed an amazing Bulgarian hospitality from one of the most warm and kind families we have encountered in our travels. We have been spoiled in a lovely room, beautifully decorated, spacious and comfy, with a great view over the mountains.Situated right in the city center, but on a parallel street to the main one, it offers a peaceful and relaxing stay in Bansko. 8 minute walk to the gondola, taxi service provided ad additional cost, great breakfast  and excellent value for money.
We will definitely stay here again next season. Thank you so much for having us Georgy and many thanks to the entire Hadzhievi family for your hospitality:)

Amazing hospitality

It’s a must to stay here if your going to bansko, george the owner is as nice a guy as you could ever want to meet, so helpful, rooms are big and finished to the highest quality ! We will be back, if your reading this george thank you very much from your scottish friends ! 

Absolutely fantastic !

We had a wonderful experience in Dzhangal Hotel.
The owners are super friendly and kind. They were always wiling to help.
The place is clean and well maintained. The location is great as its close to center but is located in a small magical side-street. We highly recommend it for couples who are looking for a quite place which is simple but beautiful!
