I liked the Rizqun International Hotel in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. Yes, some of the furnishings are a bit dated and a bit over the top, but the room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. Wi-Fi was fast and stable, breakfast was quite good (didn't eat any other meals at the hotel), and the staff was professional and friendly. The hotel is in the Gadong area of Bandar Seri Begawan and is part of a nice shopping mall with a good variety of food options and a cinema on the top floor. And there are a bunch of local restaurants and a couple of supermarkets less than a 5-minute walk from the hotel. And good places to run are nearby -- either early in the morning after sundown to avoid the heat. While the hotel is a bit outside of the center of Bandar Seri Begawan, it is only about a 15-minute drive to locations like the Royal Regalia Museum and the waterfront. This was my first time in Bandar Seri Begawan and I would stay at the Rizqun International Hotel if I return to this area.
