The Capital Residence Suites

This hotel is in a great location, walking distance to most of the main attractions including the waterfront with the water village opposite. The hotel offers a free airport transfer service which is fantastic and very welcomed. The rooms are quite businesslike, with a desk, for example. However, they are clean And perfectly functional with everything working, including a great shower. This is not a five star hotel but as long as your expectations are not that, for a night or two stay here it is absolutely perfect. The breakfast is not of a very high standard, but you can order eggs and there is some fruit too. Staff at breakfast were a little stressed as it was busy. But the staff elsewhere in the hotel, at the check-in desk and for the airport transfer were very welcoming and very friendly. Our driver, Boy, was really helpful and smiley and recommended a boat tour on the river. This was a very reasonable (and an expected) price and was an excellent way to see some of the city (also saw crocodile monkey) and the water village we had a great day in an eye at the hotel was perfect for what we needed it for.
