Our group of friends ate the set menu for Christmas Eve.  Two of us ordered the salmon, two the lobster, and one had the lamb shank.  The lamb shank was superb- perfect in every way.  I had the lobster with truffle mashed potatoes.  I am not normally a fan of mashed potatoes but I am not a convert.  So delicious.  The lobster was also perfectly cooked and prepared for ease of eating.  Our friends enjoyed their salmon but I think the lobster and lamb were better choices.  Starters and dessert were also good.  The friendliness of the staff was so wonderful.  What a way to celebrate Christmas!  Thank you Bitter End

Christmas Eve Spectacular

Great Marina and Restaurant. We reserved a slip for an overnight stay on our catamaran.  Everything is new and clean and functional after the hurricane.  Plenty of power and water and showers for the cat and family crew.  The food was great and the service was friendly.  Met some nice fellow travelers.   Sheltered harbor is great for noodling around in the dinghy and kayak.   We will definitely come back.

Great Marina & Restaurant

This past fall (Oct 2023) we visited the BEYC on our Boat, CABO. We stayed two days on a mooring ball and another 4 days on the dock (rainy weather). Plus, another two days in November on a mooring ball when we had guests with us.

The BEYC is such an easy place to visit and be. Everyone is friendly, personable and willing to assist and make the visit memorable. Whether it be at the quarterdeck, watersports, the shop or market, the Boat Bar or at the restaurants, everyone goes out of their way to make us feel welcome and appreciated. 

Over the past two seasons we have gotten to know many of the staff and in addition to their 5-star service they always provide, we consider them friends. As beautiful as the islands are, when we leave, what we miss most are our island friends at the BEYC.

Bitter End Yacht Club - A place to be

Great bar and great selection of drinks.  Mister Saturn is  the best bartender on the island. He make us a spicey margaritas and delicious negroni. Definitely will come back again to this such a beautiful place.

Great experience

We absolutely  Bitter End Yacht Club!!! Came here in 2022 on a catamaran and rented a slip.  Super great accommodations.  This year we are island hopping by ferry instead of on a boat. Took the super quick and convenient (and free) ferry over to the island for the past two days.  Just a quick cab ride over the hill from Leverick Bay Resort.  Just as great!!  Wonderful bar and restaurant.  Immaculate place from the grounds to the restrooms and everything in between.  The staff are all phenomenal!!! Especially the bar staff! Kishma is truly the best!! Happy hour from 3-5 with 2 for 1 drink specials for two drinks.  Super cute boutique and market for everything you need that you can't get from the bar and restaurant.  We asked the front desk how to get over to Saba Rock for a few hours and the front desk guy took us on his dinghy.  So accommodating! The lounge chairs are super comfortable and the water is beautiful!!! Keep up the great work Bitter End!!! Can't wait to come back!!

Amazing Amazing Amazing!!!!

No trip to Virgin Gorda is complete with out spending a day at the BEYC.  It is a destination all it's own and should not be missed.
The rebuild after the hurricane is nautically gorgeous, the staff so happy to be back, the grounds so tastefully done and the restaurants and bars are exceptional. There is a history here.......and it shows. The magic lives on.  
BiBi looked after our every need for our dinner reservations.  
She could nt have been more attentive and kind.  Everyone bent over backwards to look after us.  The food was fantastic. Best Anegada lobster ever !
We will be back again and stay  much longer !

One of my favorite places in the World

We stayed at the marina lofts for a week. We tried to stay at BEYC back in 2018 but Irma had come through just months before we were finally going to book our reservation. I don’t have the experience of staying at BEYC then but we had a very nice stay in their 2.0 version. The property is gorgeous and well designed. We stayed in loft 1 and the loft itself is beautiful and comfortable. There is no tv in the room, you can find tvs at the bar and Quarterdeck (when it opens, it was closed for some additions). Check in was a snap, Alisha greeted us and gave us a tour of the property and led us to our room. She took very good care of us and arranged all of our activities/ferry departures/taxis etc. She made sure we stayed busy and had everything we needed. It was truly wonderful, we felt so special and taken care of. The staff were all lovely but the ones who stood out to us were Baccus, Marylyn, Saturn, Lorena and I believe a smiley redhead named Shane who worked the main bar. The provision shop was great, lots of drinks and snacks and the boutique was very well appointed. I ended up buying some jewelry there but they had lots to choose from: tshirts, rashguards, dresses, bags, etc. The only thing I wish they provided with the room (or sold) is a small float with a rope. It’s a little dangerous to swim right outside the room because the dinghy’s and ferry come in and out there all times of the day. It would have been nice (and safer) to just float in that area instead, tied to the ladder outside the room.  The pool has also not been built and would have added an extra element to our stay. They have water sports and a volleyball net but I could feel something was definitely missing. We love to lounge by the beach and wade in the pool so it was a bit of a bummer not to have that option. When they do add it, I am SURE that it will always be busy. If they happen to add a swim up bar, I may never leave lol. The marina is also very busy which is truly awesome because what boater doesn’t like seeing everyone’s docking skills? 😜 the ONLY problem with this is that almost every night between 11pm and 1am there was ALWAYS loud noise coming from the docks. Laughing, loud music, screaming, etc. The rooms have no sound barrier of any kind. All of the windows have easy open blinds which makes perfect sense because the breeze coming through is spectacular and only the windows on the sides have a mesh screen. The lower floor has a set of sliding doors with no lower or upper door seals so sound travels into the room. The upstairs where the bedroom is has 2 sets of accordion doors adorned with sets of window blinds and nothing on the outside to block bugs or noise. I can deal with the bugs, the bed has a mosquito net all around but we might as well have been on all those boats drinking and laughing with their guests. I ended up using my noise canceling headphones to fall asleep and would wake up in the middle of the night to take them off past 1-2am. I also forgot to mention that they had turn down service which I LOVED. They would turn down the bed, wipe down the shower and bring us fresh ice and water. I wish I had gotten his name but there was a gentleman that cleaned and turned down our room and he was so sweet and our room always looked amazing. Despite the noise issue we had a truly wonderful time. If we came back however, I would rather stay in a room away from the marina area.

Marina Loft Stay

We moored off the location and took a dinghy in for dinner.  The restaurant served shared plates and pizza.  The food was good and the staff friendly.  We went in the early evening so I didn’t get a chance to shop and darkness kept us from wandering the property.

The bitter end 2.0 has become one of our favorite bars/restaurants in the BVIs. Incredible food and drinks (one of top three painkillers and the numero uno spicy margarita among all the islands).
If you want an amazing experience I recommend going to the main bar at sunset and finding Shane, an amazing mixologist with the best conversations and recommendations. Will come back many more times.

Wonder beach bar in the salvage sailboat was a precious touch. Staff was very friendly. The drinks were hand crafted and amazing. They have done a wonderful job with the rebuilt! Don’t miss this out of this experience! Fun beach games for all ages.
