Pousada Taiba Inn

Stayed 2 weeks in end of July and what a surprise i said, went for kitesurfing/surfing holidays and after lots of search found that taiba is the only place in north brasil that you can kite (in wind season) and surf the all year around!!!! There is a wind sheltered beach (right in front of taiba inn) called taibinha where you can surf.. so surf in the mornings and kite in the afternoon... this is taiba!! About the pousada taiba inn.. well first of all, IT´S IN THE BEACH!! you can actually have an amazing breakfast (fresh fruit, fresh squized juice, bread, ham, cheese, Eggs, tapioca tortitas, cuscus, etc, etc) having the sea by your feet and actually watching the surfers right in front of you... can´t think of a better way to get amped for a good surf sesh!!!!!! I finished my breakfast, grabbed my board and was in the water .. in the afternoon, after some coconut water, some açai (brasilian fruit) shakes and i was pumping the kite IN FRONT OF THE HOSTEL, walking a couple of meters to left to get the clean wind for launch and again i was in the water... the location of this hostel was just amazing, you have waves all along the beach, small ones and big ones depending on the tide and in the bottom of beach you the lagoon!!!!! which you can downwind to from the hostel and return in one of the boogies that are in the lagoon for a couple of euros!!!! Staff in the hostel where super friendly, always cleaning (on demand), it´s true the TV was small ... but... are you going on holidays to the paradise to watch TV????????? Was pretty close to the town square (500m) and the town remains with it´s picturesque looks and ambience as there is nearly on tourists around (even though Cumbuco it´s just 10 km away)... I could carry on writing how amazing this place is... but i think you got the picture!! Obrigado a todos pelas ferias maravilhosas...
