Ana’s attentiveness and attention to detail and comfort show in everything. 
The view of Pedra do Bau is awesome, the house and landscaping are charming, food is wonderful, the hostess is attentive. 

I recommend this place highly. 

I spent the weekend there with my girlfriend and we were delighted with "Piccola". Let me put bullets for the positives and make it easier for everyone: 
- Ana Maria, the owner of the place, is a lovely and extremely nice lady. She received us with open arms and treated us like her family. She did everything she could to make our stay there more enjoyable. 
- Breakfast was AMAZING!!! Homemade breads and cheeses, egg sandwiches, natural juices, fruit, coffee... so delicious. 
- The room is cozy, the bed is comfortable and warm, perfect for the cold weather outside. 
- The view is beautiful!! The "Pedra do Baú" is literally meters away. 
- The access is tough enough to keep crowds away, but easy enough to get there and leave without a problem.

The only two negatives I found there was the shower (electric shower), which is not ideal for the cold weather...and the price, which is a little high. 

Besides that everything else is great! Truly recommend this place.

A charming 'Piccola" right under the Pedra de Bau. It only has 3 rooms but all gems.
Ana Maria the host is charming. 
Its small but it is if you are at home. Great find !
