It's a great place to stay with pros and cons, like any other place. It'll depend on what's important for you. The inn is brand new and located about 10 minutes from the city downtown, on a very quiet place with a great view of the mountains. Depending of the weather you'll have amazing views on sunrise and sunset. For sports, it's well located for running and cycling as you'll be able to find several routes for each sport nearby and with different distances. For other sports like climbing and trail, the city is not that big. On hot days you'll be able to use the beautiful pool. There are only 6 cottages and they are big and comfortable but I would say it's more appropriate for couples, specially because the showers have no brick walls just on the side of the jacuzzi. If you need some "privacy" this may be an issue. Your breakfast is served in the room, and this increase your privacy feeling. For other meals you can go to the city at night or ask a delivery from a few restaurants nearby. For weekend lunch I recommend the "Lá na Roça" restaurant which is located near the inn (not at a walking distance) and is also the #1 for restaurants in the region. If you like privacy and to explore the region, it's a safe choice to stay.
