I was looking for somewhere tranquil, but where I wouldn’t feel completely alone and I found just that in Casa Da Gente. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel welcome and I was sorry I would only be staying for one night because it’s the type of place I would definitely like to stay longer. Barbara went out of her way to recommend things to do and places to eat out and was very accommodating of my need to check out a bit later so I could change before heading to the airport. If I ever come to Rio again, this would be a top choice
