We have just spent 5 days at the Windsor, California, Copacabana, and it was a very enjoyable stay The room was as you would expect from a quality hotel, with decent air conditioning and a good bed and a powerful shower. The breakfast was great with a lot of options, and it did not seem to matter when you went down there was always a lot of food available, and the staff were excellent at the front desk and at breakfast and did all they could to help you. We don't speak Portuguese, and if helped that the front desk team all spoke excellent English, so we could arrange what we needed to. The hotel had excellent security, which made us feel safe despite being in a city which has its security issues. There is a small pool and rooftop bar with good views of the beach The best thing about the hotel is its location right on the main Copacabana beach. Would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to visit Rio
