Last weekend I went to Itatiaia and thankfully chose this awesome hotel to stay in ! Very close to the National Park, almost in it. The road going up the mountain to get to the hotel is beautiful, not paved but in very good conditions, it's like traveling inside the rain forest. Saturday morning I sat for hours on my room's porch just taking pictures, watching the birds and feeding my soul ... If you enjoy nature, birds, waterfalls, this hotel is a must ! The sound of water running down the mountain is just perfect plus the birds singing....
