While the property is way past its prime and has seen better days, it's character and absolutely amazing manager/staff more than make up for it. Moses and his wife are the most accommodating, helpful, and friendly people you will ever meet. Even though they don't speak English (or Spanish), somehow it all worked out. Conveniently situated 2 kilometers from the park entrance (and a bus that passes by several times a day), it is a great place to use as a base while exploring Itatiaia park. Moses-- thanks again for everything!!!
