Your reward is at the top of the mountain. It is difficult access from Route RJ-151 for anyone not driving a truck or 4WD since the road is rocky and rutted. You enter through a secured gate after a steep climb. We had a very good suite with two bedrooms for 2 couples for 2 nights. There was a full kitchen available if you wanted to cook or eat in. Our bedroom was very comfortable with a good bathroom and plenty of hot water. The main common room in the suite was furnished and opened onto a balcony with views across Maringa and the valley. The breakfasts were excellent. We were fortunate that the weather was very good and were able to eat on the veranda outside the breakfast area overlooking the valley. It is about a 20 minute drive into the center of Maringa from the Chales. Excellent budget hotel.
