Bom Fim Hostel

I stayed at Bom Fin hostel for 10 days and had an excellent time.

All the staff were excellent - nothing was too much trouble for them. It had good facilities and it was well located. Great value for money and would definitely return in the future.

I have stayed in Bom Fim Hostel on three different occasions.

The first time I stay at Bom Fim I could not get money out of the ATM around the hostel because of strict Brazilian ATM polices. The owner of the hostel took time out of his busy schedule and drove me to the Porto Alegre Air port to use the ATM. I did not expect this.

This is the nieces hostel in Porto Alegre I have stayed here three times and I have been to other hostels in Porto Alegre. The staff is amazing and very helpful.

Bom Fim Hostel is located at a very central area in Porto Alegre, within easy reach of the downton neighboorhoods, as well as parks and nightlife. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere very "hostel like" with travelers from different corners of the world coming and going and eager to make friendships. The bedrooms are very simple, but good, but on the down side, ours at least, had no electricity outlets. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The breakfast offered is very frugal.

Great location, friendly staff

The Best Place to Stay In Porto Alegre

Great stay

Rocked up after an overnight bus ride to find our that our booking hadn't come through (similar to previous reviews). Payed for a double bed private but was put into a tiny twin room the size of a walk in closet.  Fine but there was no airflow from the window and no cooling and we were tired from the bus and wanted to rest so we asked to be moved. Girl at the front desk was friendly enough to try and give us other options as well as a fan. Bathrooms were clean and plentiful. Some of the place looks like it is still being finished, some rooms (as per photos) look quite nice. Good location.
