Pousada Águia Branca

As a matter of fact, I've never been a guest of Pousada Águia Branca or even crossed its doors. One morning at the beginning of August this year, I passed by its premises and was immediately attracted by its magnetism. A nice building, very well kept, a beautiful garden, at least from what I could see. And principally its privileged location! Very near the center of Gramado and, at the same time, on a quiet and beautiful street, with many trees and flowers. Just after a 10 minute walk, one can easily reach the Cathedral of St. Peter Apostle or Rua Coberta, at the very heart of Gramado's downtown. Horácio Cardoso Street, where Pousada Águia Branca is located, connects the Hortênsias Avenue and the beautiful area of the Black Lake, with Minimundo, one of the city's major tourist attractions, just in the middle of the way. In general terms, I would never review a hotel where I had never been a guest, but after reading so many positive comments about its qualities, I felt encouraged to write, as I imagined how great it would be being a guest in a hotel so close to the city's center and, at the same time, enjoying such relaxing and peaceful surroundings. Gramado's top restaurants, like St. Hubertus and Le Chalet de la Fondue are nearby, as well as many, many others. Next time in Gramado, Pousada Águia Branca can surely count on me as a guest! Enjoy!
