Inside is a lovely Pousada with ceramic tile, large court yard and lovely view of the mountain and valley. The staff are wonderful, and the free breakfast included the usual items, plus ham, cheese etc. making it quite satisfying. The rooms are small by hotel standards but clean and had hot water, ours had a small fridge inside but there is a shared one for community use. Choose 103, 102 0r 101 if you can, best views. Located on a VERY steep hill for those with mobility concerns.
