44 reviewsWhat a wonderful place to stay....first let me tell you a hotel, a restaurant or a hostel is as good as the people who work there and believe me Pousada Pomar de Manguinhos has the most wonderful and friendly staf I ever experienced in my life, and I traveled the whole world from east to west.... The owners and their team make you feel so special, so very welcome, it's heart warming...from the moment you walk in, to the moment it's time to say goodbye you feel special, everybody works hard and give their best to make your stay something you will never forget. The rooms have all the confort you need, a nice confortable bed, a good size bathroom with shower, A/C, refrigerator and TV, some rooms like ours on the second floor have a balcony were you can enjoy the evening...The rooms are very nicely decorated, and the beds are made in a way you feel sorry to sleep in them, realy special and nice....The breakfast is very good, with many things to choose from, with losts of delicious fresh juses, fruits, and home made cake. The place is clean and there is a refressing pool, so everything you need for a plesant stay. Forget negative words about this posada, I tell you this is a great place and I highly recoment it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in a relaxed atmosphere, were the people who work there make you feel special and welcome. Some words about the vilage Manguinhos, if you are looking for a place with lots of fancy stores, clubs and bars, go to another place, but if love good food (there are some very nice restaurants), a relaxed atmosphere, and some of the most beautiful beaches on earth go to Manguinhos and book yourself a room in the best place in town (Pousada Pomar) and just relax and enjoy...
