I really like the location of this hotel. It is close to main turist sites and road. 
Also the front desk employees are very nice and treated me carefully when I complain about the noise. 
The only "little problem" that I see is that there are noise during the night. 
From the street (because the glass from thw windows is very thin) and from inside because guests stay up during night and don't bother to shut the door from their rooms.

Great service and location

When you need to go to Brasilia for work, findind a hotel is challenge. Hotels are either more expesinve than your per diem, or they are old, badly located or simply disgusting. This hotel is a good option for people like, a civil servant traveling on a tight per diem. It has been renovated, is clean and have a good breakfast included in the price. It is located in a walk distance to one of the malls where you eat something quickly at the end of the day. It is also close to the main touristic attractions if you have time to check.

Affordable good option in Brasilia

Rooms are large and very comfortable but extremely noisy because of the large road that is very close. When I got inside the room I thought the windows were opened....but actually there were closed! In this respect I'm glad I spend there one night only. At least I had a very good brekfast in the morning!

Too much noise!

I needed to travel to Brasilia the first week of December 2017 in short notice . The hotels I usually stay at were fully booked so in the last moment I turned to booking.com and booked the Hotel Americas, which was classified as 4 star.
When I arrived at the hotel only one receptionist was available to attend everybody, so there was a big queue and a long wait to be checked in. Eventually I received a room which would have been put to shame by any self respecting hotel with only 1 star! The room didn’t have a mirror, electricity sockets, and I believe no bedside light, just one light in the ceiling, so I needed to get out of bed to turn the light on or off!
There is virtually no escape from traffic noise as 2 sides of the hotel are exposed to one of the busiest streets in Brasilia. One would have expected the back of the hotel, which overlooks the carpark, to give some respite from the noise but it wasn’t to be, as this is also where many homeless drunks stay and make noise of another kind but equally disturbing all night long.
The staff, all except for 2 ladies called Cleide and Henriete, were rude and irresponsible. A packet arrived for me at reception and one girl who knew which room I was staying in never told me it had arrived. I only received it, because I asked about it the following day.
The restaurant in the hotel is simple, but ridiculously priced. 
In corridors and steps adjacent to the elevators, there were stained matrasses which had been used for may years and looked really disgusting.
Do yourself a favour, avoid Hotel das Americas in Brasilia.

Best Avoided!

The hotel has no security, people could get in without having room and no one from the staff would even notice. The hotel offered parking to us and when we were robbed and our car window smashed they didn t even tried to help us. The worst is that several cars were robbed, tourists were complaining and the persons from the front desk just raised their amrs and said that the parking lot is not the hotel reponsability. They were rude and didn t support the customers
