Solar dos Poetas Hotel is a quaint hotel that is located at the Praça Luís de Camões. If you want to be in the middle of activity in Lisbon, I recommend this hotel. Large groups gather in the square to listen to music, have a drink with friends and people watch! We watched all of this out of our bedroom window. The square is also the meeting point for the Walking Tours for Lisbon (which are free and highly recommended). The hotel was very reasonably priced. The room is beautifully decorated in white. Located in a very old building with a small quaint elevator that only carries two people. There are only a few rooms in this building that belong to this hotel. Looks like businesses and a shop on the street entry also occupy the building. Felt very safe in the building. The main hotel is a 2 min walk from this hotel. The main hotel is located in an old Palace (400 years old) in a building called Palacio das Especiarias which in English translates to Spice Palace. This building is where the restaurant and spa treatments are located and where you check in. The breakfast, which are free are simply amazing! You do not want to miss that! Some of the spa treatment is also free. Highly recommended and will return if in Lisbon again.
