33 reviewsI went to Barra Nova for kitesurfing for about a month and stayed at Pousada por do Sol the whole time. It turned out to be the best decision ever for many reasons. First of all the Pousada is perfectly located at the beach, it has a great storage room for all the gear, and a nice pool that you can enjoy after your kite session. The breakfasts were amazing (and included in the price!) with plenty of fresh fruits, cereal, toasts, avocado, eggs etc. and they serve really tasty acaí as well as other food and drinks during the rest of the day. The room I stayed in was very tidy, had a comfy bed, a nice shower, air conditioning as well as a fridge, which was very handy. But most of all, the owners of the Pousada are just the sweetest family that you will find in whole of Brazil - from the very start they were all extremely welcoming, caring and hospitable. When I was sick, they bought me medicine, when I was hungry they prepared delicious food for me, an if I needed anything they were always there to help. And overall they are all just purely wonderful people which made my stay here way better than I could ever have hoped for. I warmly recommend Pousada por do Sol to everyone on this planet if you are ever coming to Barra Nova! Thanks for everything, I will miss you all a lot <3
