Eco Hostel Sana

I was fortunate enough to spend five days here after a long and hectic journey around South America. I can honestly say that Sana was one of the most beautiful, interesting and peaceful places I visited and staying at the Eco hostel was a pleasure. Waking up in the morning with a glorious view of the mountains was so relaxing. João and his wife went out of their way to make us feel at home and were very eager to showcase their village and the amazing natural environment that surrounds it. We were there during the 2014 World cup and on match days neighbours came round to watch the game and have a beer in a very friendly environment. Overall the hostel had the perfect balance of feeling like a home, whilst having all the amenities and privacy you would expect from a hostel. Oh, and the home cooked food was amazing!
