77 reviewsThe hostel is in a great location close to Farol da Barra and walking distance to the beach. Good breakfast options with fruit, cheese, bread, eggs and tapioca on request! Clean hostel and there was rarely a queue for the bathrooms - another positive is the powerful shower, a pleasant change from the usual dribble common in hostels in the area. A negative aspect was the confusion surrounding the Air conditioning - they make a point to switch it on centrally at 9pm and if you are unlucky enough to have the bed directly under the AC, it will be painfully cold. I think the room design should be adapted so that the extreme cold air blowing from the AC on one side is reduced and the other beds do receive some cool air! The beds/ mattresses also require updating as it felt as though I was sleeping on a board.
