10 reviewsWe were booked into the spa by our collaborator for a meeting at the Universidade. The hotel is surrounded by rain forest (Mate Atlantica) and there is some great wildlife to be seen. We saw Marmosets and even a sloth. The hummingbirds were busy feeding and chasing each other, making for some great photography. It is jungle and so there are loads of insects that can be seen on walks along the tracks. Many of the guests were on calorie controlled diets, doing daily exercise classes and walks. We were not, and they were very accomodating to our requirements. The staff were super friendly and we loved sitting in the hammocks listening to the sounds of the forest. Total relaxation.
