We have just spent 4 nights here. And I was very impressed!

The rooms are lovely, the grounds are amazing. It's very quiet here, away from the hustle and bustle. The only noises you get are from the insects.

Breakfast was served and it was exactly what I would want.

The location is off the beaten track. I thought we must have been given the wrong address at first, when we were driving there, its a discrete location . But that's good with me.

The hosts were lovely. I had an accident with my leg and they helped me and gave first aid. They were helpful as well and good to talk to.

I would recommend this place and I would like to return.

This place is a hidden gem

A unique, beautiful, cozy place, very tasteful decoration. Large, very quiet rooms and a tranquility that escapes my image of Buzios. Alrun welcomed us even late with a lot of affection, joy and unparalleled attention. In the company of his three dogs and the friendly Maria, we spent a delicious weekend as if we were at home! Alrun is a top 10 hostess! The incredible breakfast with handmade bread, cheese, little fruit and a table especially us two. I recommend it to couples, couples with children and whole families if you want to rent the whole place that has four charming suites. Or to say Alrun is a full kitchen and we are sorry about dinner. But we have no reason to go back there anymore!

Exclusive and Acquisitive

This B&B is amazing. I extended my stay at Anfiteatro Tropical twice, all-in-all staying for approximately two weeks. 

The house has four beautiful guest bedrooms, lots of open living space and is set out in beautiful lush gardens, with plenty of areas to enjoy a drink or BBQ. The swimming pool is absolutely perfect for relaxing during the day or and an end of the day cool down after the beach.

Alrun is a fantastic and kind host, making sure you have everything you need for a relaxing stay and providing a great breakfast with cooked options each morning, prepared as you sit down rather than left out. 

The location of the property is set up on the hillside providing a wonderful view of the bay. Alrun was kind enough to pick me up from the bus station on arrival and inform me if and when she would be going into the centre of an evening. Outside of this I used Uber and walked to and from a couple of times. 

I can highly recommend Anfiteatro Tropical as a wonderful, tranquil and relaxing place to stay.

Tranquil & Relaxing B&B in Buzios

We stayed for the second time at the Tropical Amphitheater. Alrun is a noteworthy host. Do not spare effort to make your stay perfect. Breakfast, the cleanliness and beauty of the place are the highlights. There are few suites that guarantee the tranquility and privacy of the guests. Breakfast runs away from the conventional with homemade yogurt, cheeses and very tasty jellies. We will return at a next opportunity.

I loved it so much that I came back.

Great experience all around. Excellent service, comfortable/spacious rooms and friendly owner in the middle of a tropical paradise! She even ironed our shirts for us for the wedding we were attending!

Beautiful B&B

We stayed for 5 days at the Tropical Amphitheater and we enjoyed it very much. Beautiful and reserved place, with only 4 rooms. Well located and with a delicious breakfast and prepared with a lot of affection. Super indico!!! We thank Alrun for the hospitality and affection with which we were welcomed. We want to return soon.

Special place

A very quiet place as it is a small hotel (it only has 4 rooms) and away from other accommodations, which makes it the perfect place if you want to rest. It is personally attended by its owner, who gives it a homey atmosphere. the breakfast is exquisite and very varied. It is a little far away from the most crowded places and on top of a hill, but by taxi or Uber you can get there well.

The perfect place to rest.

We stayed for 5 nights in this wonderful hostel. Certainly one of the best hostel experiences we've ever had. The hostel's owner, Alrum, of German origin, is an incredible Person, super dear and has become a great friend. The hostel is super well located, we spent the new year dipping and this strategically positioned one, near the Bardot Orla (5 minutes by car) and away from the Geriba Transit and other beaches. Moreover, Alrum takes her guests to the center and to the nearest beaches... charging a sensation of 1/3 of the value of the cabs. The breakfast reminded me of a hostel we had in Taormina, region of Sicily, Italy.

I recommend it and I'll be back!

This hostel is wonderful! The hostel owner, Mrs. Alrun, is very nice and welcoming making our stay very pleasant. Keyla is also incredibly friendly. The hostel is very clean, large, well ventilated rooms, quiet environment and nature prevails in that place. The breakfast is very sophisticated and delicious served to the taste of the guest. The pool is very good and clean. Super I recommend this hostel.

Amazing weekend.

It's incredible in many respects: the fantastic scenery, the wonderful outline plants, the attention to detail in the furnishings rich in works of art and the services offered, but the real secret of the Tropical Amphitheater is its owner, the wonderful Alrun who, with her unparalleled hospitality and her golden hands, offers excellent breakfasts preparing on demand spectacular lunches and dinners that produce some of the paintings on display.
