Pousada Vista da Serra

The pousada vista da Serra is one of the friendliest pousadas I have stayed in, in all my time in Brazil. We are a family of 4 with 2 children under 3 and their super hostess Daniela could not have done more to ensure we had everything we needed and more: eating any time we needed, water for bottles, even entertaining the children while we ate - and all the while incredibly smiling and helpful. The rooms are a little Spartan and it is further from Inhotim than the site suggests (1hr) but the beautiful dining area and the wonderful warmth of Daniela and her team make this a fantastic stay for anyone with families!

Beautiful and quiet place, good service, nice view, Good breakfest, kind people. It's not that luxury, but a honest place near the Inhotim museum, where you can walk and see great landscapes. Minas Gerais deserves many trips.

It is a great place for enjoying a week end and if you are in Belo Horizonte it is close.

The atmosphere is easy going and everybody ready for let you enjoy your week end. Even the Internet for being in Brazil is good (business hotel here can let you down).

I gave 4 instead of 5 because they are building an elevator I do not why and it is ruining the panorama



This cosy and isolated B&B has two great things that distance itself from the competition. A killer view and a great hostess (Daniela), willing to help anyone staying there to have the best stay possible.
The rooms are very clean, if a little spartan. There is a low connection Wifi in all the rooms and reception area. The major problem is shower on the lower level rooms, because it's impossible to have a good shower, since the water varies rapidly between scalding hot and freezing in the span of a second.  My only major problem from an otherwise pleasant stay.
These days, the major public for the Inn is to visit the Inhotim museum, but it's a little farther then we are led to believe on the website. Around 50 minutes.

Real "mineral" atmosphere

Can't complain about the pousada.  Oldish but well kept, clean. Rooms are spacious and have an open view, altough not very stylish.  Service very frienldy, good and abundant breakfast.  We had one dinner there and it was basic but fine.

 It is a bit far off Inothim, though.  There are closer options.
