Pousada Brigite - Hostel

My boyfriend and I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at the lovely Pousada Brigite Hostel, hosted by Brigite herself. We received the warmest welcome with open arms from a woman who is unique, worldly (she speaks at least 5 language) and charismatic. She is passionate about many things and you can have many interesting discussions with her. We have been traveling in South America for 2 years and it's a rare place that we feel like home. Brigite treated us like family and gave us space where we can feel comfortable. The pousada is spotless and well appointed with one of the best views in a city I've ever seen! That view! Perched high above, you can see all of Blumenau. There are many places to relax on her giant balcony so you can really enjoy the view and the sunsets there. We are interested in foods and Brigite wasted no time telling us where to go and even introducing us to people in the know. Our room was perfect-very clean with its own bathroom. The breakfast is plentiful and all things are the best quality. I never had such good honey in my life! If you tell Brigite what you like, she will be sure to make sure she puts it out for you. I honestly don't understand the bad reviews I see here. Some people are never happy. We are so glad we stayed here-you get a really good value for your money and best of all you get welcomed like you are at home. Brigite opens her heart as well as her home, I will always remember our stay here. Do not hesitate.
