We stayed at this place from Wednesday through Saturday this June. It was fantastic! The place is only a block from Broadway, where all the action is, and only a short 5-minute walk down to the beach. We stayed at the L'amore apartment/room. Very clean, brand new room. AC unit was so quiet we didn't even know it was on half the time. Breakfast had a nice variety of fruits, cakes, juices, and other local staples. The only problem we encountered was on Friday night and Saturday morning with excessive music noise from the guests at the next door pousada. The manager at our place advised us to let them know next time, so they can take the appropriate course of action notifying the local police (there are noise ordinances in Brazil after 10pm). Staff was always helpful and pleasant. The owners seemed to show concern for our comfort every time they crossed us in the pousada grounds. The chalets were the cutest thing too. The Wi-fi was spotty at times. The swimming pool grounds was beautiful. The place is all beautifully ornated and the landscaping is pristine. I suggest staying during the week days and leaving before, or right at the beginning of the weekend, to avoid noise and crowds from the capital, Fortaleza. If you can, book a room closer to the entrance of the pousada to avoid noise from the pousada next door, in the back.
