The hostel is bad for breakfast, it's all old and unhygienic, rooms are dirty and need maintenance, many stairs to access the rooms, when I talked to the owners, he had the courage to answer that the hostels in Aparecida offer the same service for cost benefit, I don't agree with that justification because I've stayed in another hostel with the same value and respect for guests, instead of just justifying.

Worst hostel, dirty and arrogant owners, who only justify problems by claiming cost-benefit!

Pity! dirty, poorly organized! the photos on the website are not real! and even the ones they sent me on WhatsApp woke me up at 7:35 a.m. on Sunday morning, screaming, warning that breakfast is only served until 8:00 a.m.! I don't recommend anyone!

A family walk.

I had a very good weekend at the inn, super nice people, I'll definitely be back. It's very close to the cathedral. I went in August, very good. Full morning coffee. Very quiet.

You don't have to fill a spoon, or it's good or bad, in this case, very good and cheap, very well located, in the middle of the two Basilicas, and with a family service, simple and very good, that leaves us like we're at home, it doesn't offer meals, it's a salty breakfast, it gives you the advantage of eating where and when you want.

Good is good

I went to Aparecida with my family and at my friend's suggestion I stayed at the St. John's Inn. The breakfast was great, a family-friendly, respectful hostel with everything new. The staff treated us very well and with all the attention, we were in doubt about how to get to the basilica and other attractions, they explained to us with all the patience and precision. The hostel was a pleasant surprise and perfect to rest after a long day of walking.

Excellent - would return a thousand times

Aparecida is plenty of hotels (and the so called "pousada") so it's not easy to choose a structure for the stay. I've been at this hotel and I've been pleasantly surprised by it: it's cosy and comfortable, it has all that it's needed for a pleasant stay: it's clean, ordered, with a comfortable room and bathroom, there is air conditioning and the staff is kind and available. The location of the hotel is ideal to visit the sanctuary, as it's only 5 minutes walking from the bridge connecting the historic centre to the basilica. The sanctuary is amazing, huge and with its special and own atmosphere, I would recommend both the visit and this pousada!
