My uncle and myself took my gran up to Bulawayo recently and needed a place to sleep for the night.  We arrived in the dark with nothing booked so were nervous it would be fully booked.  She is 85 years old and needed both of us in the room to feel safe.  Dumela Lodge accommodated this for us with no issue what so ever.  It takes us quite a while to get out in the mornings and they were nothing but nice to us when we asked for another 30 minutes to help my gran sort everything out.  Everything was spotless and the pool was divine to swim in.  Would recommend 100 times over.

We were made to feel so at home as we spent the night on our way back from Johannesburg. The rooms are unique and very clean. All the staff we encountered were super attentive and pre empted our every need. The dinner was delicious and breakfast was extremely generous. I highly recommend a stay here. 

A great piece of quiet away from the hustle bustle Francistown. Tented rooms are adequate, service is helpful and friendly, and good food at the restaurant. Not fancy in any way, but what we we looking for. 

My husband and I stopped over here for the night, we did struggle a little to find it (perhaps a better map on their website would have helped?) but were happy with what we found. Our tented room was very nice and comfortable with a lovely free standing claw-footed bath and a balcony that we enjoyed sitting on listening to the birds. There was an issue with the toilet which they came to fix and was not really much of an issue for us, though we were offered free breakfast in way of apology for the inconvenience which we very much appreciated! There were a few details that need some attention, such as the canvas needed a bit of of a spruce up, and they either need to offer TV in the rooms or take out the TV altogether. Plus outside the rooms I think it would be much nicer to have proper path rather than the kind of rubbery path that is there, and also a bit of TLC around the pool area is needed (the pool itself is fine).

The staff and manager are really friendly and efficient and because of this and the comfortable night we had we will definitely be using this place again on our fairly regular trips to Francistown as you feel you have got away from the town and can hear the nature around which is lovely. We would love to see them make some of the improvements suggested, as it would be a shame for this place to go down hill.

Camped there on the way to Moremi - very friendly and efficient staff! We had forgotten a braai grid, no problem the staff carried an entire braai unit to our campsite! The only downside was the lack of a mirror in the men's ablution block & a u/'s light. Go back? Certainly! 

Stayed here for one night on our way back to RSA after a Chobe visit. Nice place to stretch your legs after roughing it in tents for a few weeks. The staff simply couldn't do enough to help us - even moved our table for breakfast outside so we could enjoy some sunshine.
A luxury for me was the bathtub! So enjoyable after 3 weeks of showers.

Staff wonderful and friendly, chef an absolute delight that takes such pride in her meals. Accommodation was comfortable and the hot water was a treat (not easily encountered in Botswana!) The tented room lacked attention to detail - simple things like having to go outside the tent to close the windows in the bathroom area - plug points that didn't fit, DSTV and t.v didn't work, no chairs to relax on on the balcony......
