To quote “spectacular food”. Even better location and ambiance. Attentive and helpful staff. Great sightings; six lionesses lolling around. Added to that was a lioness with two very young cubs tucked away in thorn bush. Our guide Moremi is very knowledgeable with a far reaching reputation

Delightful

Second visit here and it did not disappoint. Excellent game drives and boat cruises. The staff are so friendly and make you feel at home. The guides are very knowledgeable and there is so much wildlife. Great food as well! 

A touch of luxury in the bush

Ngoma Safari Lodge was a fantastic lodge for our first safari trip!  From the welcome from the General Manager, Glorious, to the great meal service by Linnah and the SPECTACULAR game drives organized by MK - we were treated like royalty.  I love the small, cozy nature of the property.  We had customized service wherever we went - they remembered our preferences, etc...  The room was great - we had them configure for two twin beds, which were comfy and perfect.  Room was spotless every day (they came whenever we left to straighten up).  I loved having a "couch" in the room to relax on, the Nespresso machine was a personal highlight, and the dipping pool and shower just outside was such a cool relief after long drives.  The pick up at the airport was easy and seamless.  The game drives were varied and really nice - it was just the two of us in our vehicle for every drive and we found lots and lots of animals - lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hippos, water buffalo, zebra, etc....   We felt very safe and very well take care of!  Food was great - again, they remembered our preferences and incorporated those into meal planning (we were the only two guests one night) and in the meals prepped for our lunch and our sunset cocktails while out on game drives.  Would definitely stay there again - and would try their "sister" properties as well.  Such a GREAT vacation.      

Personalized service in a spectacular setting

This was THE place to go! Cannot say enough about this lodge! Accommodations were top notch super comfortable! Outstanding views everywhere. Food was to die for, cappuccinos in the morning, eggs benedict - whatever you want. The staff was also the nicest we ran into! They seemed super happy all the time which filters down to your service. Rooms had indoor/outdoor showers, soak pool, chaises all looking out on the plains. Simply beautiful. Our guide Tebbe was the best & we saw everything! Super fun. Go here if you can!

The BEST!

We had the most amazing time at the Ngoma lodge. The staff were wonderful. The position above the plane quite spectacular and the food amazing. We felt really spoilt on our honeymoon.  Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place. Quite magical  Thank you.

Absolutely Gorgeous Property / Excellent Service / Great Value / Bush Luxury at its very finest

Wow!  This resort was small, personal and provided our family an unparalleled positive safari experience.  The resort overlooks a jaw dropping view of the Chobe river and the individual huts are  private and luxurious.  The staff and food were wonderful.  Farm to table cooking, the chef can out nightly to talk about the entree options and ingredients.  The safari guides were very knowledgeable and we enjoyed a fantastic glamping lunch while in the bush.  I can’t say enough positive things about this place!

Hidden Gem

This is a small scale, high end lodge with spectacular views on Chobe river and valley, and a wonderful staff. Warm welcome. We stayed two nights in a very spacious private lodge with very comfortable bed, large bathroom, coffee/tea facilities, plunge pool, open air shower, sun loungers. Lots of privacy. The game drives by guide Jo were very interesting. This professional and kind guide showed us the animals in Chobe National Park and took us in a boat on Chobe river, to watch hippo’s, crocodiles, many elephants and many more animals. Catering, breakfast and dinners were all very good, with a lot of personal attention. Open air dining under a starry sky next to the fire was romantic. For our wedding anniversary they made a special effort, highly appreciated. Host Zita made our stay feel like home. Try the stacked eggs for breakfast, they are spectacular! I would highly recommend this lodge. Note: don’t depart too early for Kansane airport: there is nothing there, not even coffee.

Wonderful stay

Spent 3 nights here as our final Africa stop.  Luxury and professional--yet friendly and warm--service ruled the day.  Rooms were gorgeous with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Chobe River, double sinks, tub and shower in large bath space with plenty of counters...  Two luggage racks, pool towels and robes.  The plunge pool, outdoor shower and patio lounge chairs an added bonus.  Food and meal service outstanding.  Having only 8 rooms increases the intimacy of the experience.  Our guide was Joe who delivered on our game sightings.  Roaring male lion, leopards, hippos in the water and out, Buffalo, giraffe, crocs, and yes, the largest elephant herd I've ever seen.  These we viewed from a boat on the river and we ate our lunch while watching them swim in groups across the river.  Words can't describe the magnificence of that.  Also visited the nearby village of Mabele to buy woven crafts and stopped in at the school.  Our experience here was simply top notch.

Excellent stay in magical place

My wife and I have just returned from Ngoma, and we really didn't want to leave. The place is not only in an absolutely stunning location, but the service we received throughout was fantastic. They really do think of everything, from cold water bottles when being picked up from the airport to a packed lunch when departing.

We were particularly thankful for Ngoma catering for Gluten-free food. Which they did with great care and came up with wonderful treats as well. Whenever there were snacks brought out, there would be gluten-free ones as well. This was delightful and very much appreciated. Samson and his team should be rightfully proud of the meals were very much enjoyed.

As for the game drives, we had Sam as our guide, and he treated us to some amazing sights throughout our 4 days at Ngoma. He's such a knowledgeable guy, and really has a passion for showing people all of the life within the park. We were very lucky to have him to guide us.

The drives took us to different parts of the park, at different times of the day, on water and on land, so there was always a different story and landscape to see which made each drive feel like the first. The animals were plentiful, and with the waterhole lit up at night, you get to see some of the more shy species as well.

We also really appreciated the airport transfers. Our journey to Ngoma was greeted by staff to give us a very personal welcome, and on our departure we were lucky enough to have an early game drive which finished about 5 mins from the airport!

It really was the trip of a lifetime and 5 stars doesn't do it justice. Thank you to all at Ngoma, I'd recommend it to anyone.
