We had other accommodation booked that was cancelled on the day so this was a very last minute booking. 
We arrived late at night and we're given a room on the top floor. The room was spacious and the bathroom neat enough with the usual issue of ho where to put things in the shower, however there seemed to be a lot of dust/wood bits dropping on the bed from the roof beams and the floor very squeaky. The carpet looks like the original even though other elements of the room have been updated. 
The main issue was that there were no curtains/blinds????? There was a sky light and a side window which only had a mesh cover, how could they think this was ever ok for a hotel room. 
After our late arrival we were woken at 5am due to light. 
We asked to change rooms the next morning and were initially put in a smaller room with double bed against the wall, but it had no aircon. And was very warm and stuffy. We asked for a fan at least as this room had curtains, instead they moved us to a third room which had aircon but again, only one window had a curtain that was more than gauze. 
We gave up at this point and used the bed cover to cover the window. 
Also this hotel doesn't do breakfast but apparently have a deal with a nearby hotel for €12 (expensive in these parts). 
The staff were lovely but this place needs to get the basics right. 

Lovely staff, disappointing rooms, top location 

Had an excellent 4 night stay.  My room was very comfortable and cleaned every day. The bathroom and shower looked to  be quite new.  
The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful, even getting up at 4am to ensure I caught my early taxi to the airport.  I can't thank them enough, and would recommend anyone visiting Sarajevo to stay here.
 The hotel is in a perfect position,  right next to the old town.  

Lovely hotel in the perfect position 

This hotel was a last minute choice - my previous accommodation was a total disaster so I had to move quickly.
Hotel Sokak was available, at reasonable rates and just around the corner, in central Sarajevo, less than 5 minutes walking to the old town.   
All the staff was very polite and nice - they gave me a delicious and large “breakfast to go” as I left very early.  
The room was big, kind of a suite, with a large sofa (I believe it was a sofa-bed). The bathroom was a little bit old... altough clean.
The common spaces were modern and pleasant.    
Overall I felt really good at this hotel and recommend it. 


Nice place in central Sarajevo

It was the second time for me in this hotel, I travelled with my family this time and they were surprised because the hotel. The hotel is very good, with everything you can need,big rooms and equipated the breakfast is good and it is included. It is located in the old Town, so you have the most of the things to do/see in Sarajevo in a walkable distance. The owner came and pick up us when we were completely lost on one of the Sarajevo slopes. The worst was the stay of just one night. I will back again for sure and of course I recommend to everybody who is visiting Sarajevo. The staff is good too and they try always to help you

The best

We were in Sarajevo - Bosnien in a couple of days. The city is beautiful and I can recommend to go visit “Old town” for local food.

Sorry it’s a late review. Hotel is situated at the old town which is very good. Full of shops and that are surrounded with histories. 
I had a big room with a 2 double bed up the loft on the TOP floor (3rd floor). Not for anybody that has a leg problem.  But toilet is a bit small and water in the shower cabin doesn’t flow well. 
There’s a single room on the ground floor for single occupants.
Staffs are very friendly and helpful. 
Good decent breakfast served very morning. 
I recommended this hotel as it is convenient.

Clean Hotel with good location

If you are looking for a place that is not expensive, in the city center, and with the personnel ready to help you on every step, Sokak Hotel is the good choice. Do not expect anything fancy, but it's a great place for a short stay. They will provide any information, organize whatever you feel like, even add extra stuff for the breakfast if you ask them.

Small hotel for a short stay in Sarajevo

The worst hotel ever. They shot down the heating at night in the midle of November. It was so cold in the room and I went to threception desk to complain. The employee says that yeas they do shot down the heating at night and there is nothing to do about it. Nothing works properly. The rooms are so tight you can hardly move inside. 

Most terrible hotel

Located in a perfect position in the old town. Many cafes and restaurants near by. We arrived at 1 a.m. wishing a good shower and some rest. Check in was good, room nice but the bathroom had a huge problem. There was an extra towel at the floor, near the shower box. Initially I though that that was for leaks (small!) but for my surprise, after my shower, the bathroom was completely wet. The problem was already known so this room shouldn't be available.
Before to unpack everything since we should stay for 4 nights my husband asked for changing room which was denied because hotel was full. However, the guy promised him to talk with his colleague next morning. In the next morning, a girl came to talk with us, ask for apologizes and changed our room where everything was working pefectly. Comfortable bed, good towels, bathroom ok and wi-fi excellent. The room is not big but had a view to a green area. Breakfast is good and the staff is gentle. Two steps away you find the number 3 tram stop whichj takes you to Vrelo Bosne, near Tunnel of Hope, National and History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Be careful in this tram! Pickpockets in action. Alcohol is not allowed.

Good choice in Sarajevo

Excellent location, staff very helpful. Parking is not at hotel but approx 500m away and costs 12 euro a night
