Hotel Integra

From the outside, the Integra looks fairly non-descript, your typical modern build for the region. However, as soon as myself and a colleague walked in, we knew we had found a good place to base ourselves for a few days. The place was spotless and still looked brand-new. The receptionist was very friendly, very professional, spoke perfect English and had a great sense of humour - real laugh-out loud funny. It turned out that all the receptionists were like that! We didn't know what types of room we wanted and she readily offered a tour. There were three types on offer - A Single for 70KM (about 35 Euros), Double for 80KM (40 Euros) and a Suite for 100KM (50 Euros). The Single room was small but very clean, although the bed itself seemed a bit short. The Double was much larger and had a very large bed. The Suite (room 22) was just superb, a large modernly-furnished bedroom with a separate lounge area, large LCD TV with 60-ish satellite channels (including many English-language ones), leather sofa, a private roof terrace, and I agreed to take it without hesitation. At just 10 Euros more than the Double, it was a no-brainer! All came with a well-stocked (and cheap) mini-bar which provided a perfect accompaniment to my iPod for those evenings when I was tied to the evil laptop. The bar and restaurant were very nice and the food was superb. Breakfast is included and is your choice from the menu plus fruit juice. The service here was also superb. In the neighbourhood, there is the popular Ulster Irish Pub a short walk away, which became our evening venue. Next door to the hotel is a large and shiny new shopping centre. In summary, the best place to stay in Doboj (and one of the best in Bosnia). I'd actually like to take all the staff to some 'Western' hotels I've stayed in to show the staff there how it's done!
