Matilda greeted us with a warm smile, which was very welcome after a trip from Dubrovnik where we were on the wrong road for a bit. Her son, Andre, returned from driving pilgrims to Sarajevo and then drove us around to share the history and to introduce the church. Then Matilda’s son, Marko, would serve us our breakfast and dinner. He was always smiling and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. We saw them welcome a couple with two small children and thought they were family. Found out they were guests as we were. The cook and housekeeper are excellent at what they do and the family is so generous with information, conversation, and welcoming hearts we highly recommend staying here. We are from California U.S.A. and hope to return again. Our Lady of Peace was felt everywhere at every moment.
