This hotel should not be rated 4-stars, 2-stars would be maximum.
Room furnishings are dated, the curtains are not light blocking, the air conditioner not working, no bathroom amenities, breakfast selection poor. On-site parking is a plus, wi-fi works.
Not recomended!

Far from 4-star hotel

Convenient, on site parking was a major plus. Rooms were large and reasonably well appointed but ours was difficult to cool with an ineffective heat pump and no cross ventilation. They missed the mark with breakfast. Selection was about average for the area but you needed to arrive early since offerings were not replenished and tables were not cleared. The staff was pleasant.

Firs of all i like to say that the receptionist Jasmina and Naida in the restaurant were more then exceptional with their service, keep up the good work girls. 
We travel the world and always stay in 4 or 5 star hotels. This hotel should not be rated even 2 stars. We booked 6 nights and could barely sleep 1 night. Lift did not work, Public places were filthy and nothing has been improved since the hotel has been opened. Torn chair covers, walls are chipping and badly need painting. Dinnerware is all scratched and in dire need of replacement. BEWARE it is a pet friendly hotel and we had a room 2 doors away from barking dogs all night. The curtains are not light blocking and we had the hotel light shining into our room, it was like daylight all night long. The air conditioner did not work in the room we booked and it was more then 45c so they moved us into a smaller room in which aircon worked but thats about it. Mattress was so old that you could feel every springs on your back. Wardrobe was so small that if you hang 2 items you can’t shut the door. 
There was a dead pigeon on the terrace where you have breakfast. We could not wait for the next day to find alternative accommodation as that was not the place to stay even one night.

BEWARE!!!!!

Instead of leaving Bihac for Croatia  we decided to stay near the border in a good commercial hotel. Open parking, spacious rooms, small lift, terroir impersonal (the hotel could be in Argentina or Turkey) but the detail was interesting. The breakfast room dark and slightly anatolian. Quiet sleep wise and the location off centre.

We visited the hotel with family. We were extremely satisfied with the installation. We were impressed by the staff, the food too. The facility is clean. The ambience is very pleasant.The breakfast is very tasty and warm.

Great place for Family

The hotel is fine, basic service, I like the service of the hotel itself, but I can’t say the same about the restaurant, first day the food was good, and the breakfast is soo basic and the waiters in the morning seemed to run around without a clue, tried to have dinner the second night in the hotel restaurant, but no waiter seemed interested in serving us or had the curtesy to tell us anything, and the tables were left without cleaning, we ended up leaving the restaurant.. and I honestly can’t see how did this hotel got (9.1) customer reviews as they are promoting, I had much better experience in other hotels here, 
But to tell the truth other than what happened in the restaurant, the staff are friendly and helpful 

Restaurant 

Very attentive and professional waiter. Restaurant is very nicely decorated. We had a ramsteak in caramelized onion and grilled chicken with fresh grilled vegetables. Food is great and portions more than enough.

Dinner

Very nice place with good food and very polite waiters and most of them speak English. Food come in about 15 min and it was really good. I had a chicken risotto and for me it wasn’t spicy enough. Smoking is allowed but for me it would be better if it isn’t. I made a mistake and decided to eat outside. Cars were passing by because it pretty close to very busy road. I haven’t been in a hotel but the restaurant is clean and spacious. Will be back to try something else from the menu.

Nice and affordable 

The Emporium is one of the nicer hotels in Bihac, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is the closest town of any size near to the Plitvica Jezera National Park in Croatia. A nice hotel, quiet and safe. The only issue is that smoking ia allowed in restaurants and bars in Bosnia and everyone appears to smoke. The odor in the lounge and the restaurant was stifling.
