The hotel is very conviniently located around the city centre. It has its own parking and a bar both for guests and ‘non-guests’. It is not a very large hotel, but is definitley the best one in town. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are always clean and fresh. 
Would definitley reccomend to families who are to go on a small vacation.

This is my second time to stay at Hotel Talija and the food is fabulous!   Definitely try the beef steak...melts in your mouth.  Have ordered several dishes like smoked turkey...also delicious.  Breakfast at hotel in basement does not compare to restaurant...less variety. Banja Luka is a beautiful city, safe, clean, and tourist friendly.  Come to Bosnia and Herzegovina!

The staff are very professional and friendly, wifi works great, the room was very spacey and clean, great pool and sauna. Hotel is located on the city center with free parking. Fair price, i recommend.

I read many reviews of this small hotel that it has an exaggerated number of stars. I don't look at the stars. My wish is for the hotel to be comfortable, clean, friendly and locationally ok. This hotel has it all. First, the location. This one is exceptional, in the center of Banjaluka, with many bars, shops, alleys and sights in the immediate vicinity. The staff is excellent, unobtrusive but friendly and willing to cooperate. I had a room in the new part and it was great. Big, clean, comfortable bed, TV with many channels, including sports (who actually watches TV in a hotel?), bathroom spacious, clean. In short, great. On the fourth floor there is a fitness center, a sauna and a swimming pool. Unfortunately I didn't use this part, but it looked great. Breakfast perfect. Some here complain that it is not adequate. I wonder what is missing. Some disadvantages, however: there is no iron (there is a laundry service, but for a minimal fee), there are no bath robes and slippers for swimming in the pool, maybe some another details. Banja Luka is a wonderful city with extraordinary people. Visit it and if your journey takes you here, stay at Hotel Talija. For EUR 70 per night, you get what you get in larger western cities for EUR 200 and more. I'll be back, for sure. PS: suitable for disabled people, suitable for families

We stayed for a week. The hotel is newish and fit for purpose. Rooms were clean, wifi worked fine. A small gym with a few weight machines and a pool. Breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for walking into the town centre.
A slight gap under the door, and sounds come easily though the walls, and no English speaking international news channels on the TV, but worth the visit and I would come again.

Friendly and helpfull staff willing to help all of the time.
Nice swimming pool with Gym and Sauna on topfloor.
Only breakfast not very much of a choice.
Location is super for exploring city and nightlife.

Just returned from a 4 day trip.  Very comfortable and clean room.  Breakfast ok.  Food in restaurant very good.  Staff excellent.  Great location near everything.  Banja Luka is a lovely city.  Definitely worth a visit.

The hotel itself was nice the rooms were good. The first room we were given i felt was very small and more a single room but when i pointed this out to the reception they changed it immediately to a double. Breakfast was very good. There was a very large choice of foods. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunatly i was unaware of the pool until the following morning but i went and had a look and it was very nice.

The parking lad lad at the hotel looked like he just came out of civil war, very non friendly not wanting to open the parking for us at times etc... Sadly this was our first contact with BL, as the rest of the people seem quite friendly and the town is full of nature

Hotel looks average, not quite as on pictures, and breakfast follows it as well, but as we stayed for a short while we could cope.
