When we come to Bonaire, Divers Paradise is our first choice.  This is the 5th time we have stayed at this place, and it has become even better with a touch of charm in its design. It has everything we need. Very clean and well-maintained, well isolated from mosquitos, powerful AC, hot shower, large living and sleeping areas, well-equipped kitchen, excellent location by the sea away from the downtown noise. The hosts Bobby and Shelly are ALWAYS available for any needs we had.  If it is not booked, we will stay there next time.

An outstanding stay in Bonaire

Divers paradise apts is my first choice when visiting Bonaire. It is located on a quiet residencial area, away from the noises of downtown Kralendijk, yet with a supermarket and restaurants very close by just 10 min walk.
The apartments are very well furbished, are very confortable, very nicely decorated it feels more like home than a rented apartment. Very good Wifi. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a delicious meal. There is also a barbecue grill outside for the guests. Every unit has its own parking stand right next to the doorstep. and  the owners Shelly and Bobby are the most kind and helpful people always doing their most to turn your experience at Divers paradise really unforgetable. As I said, it is my first choice and I'm sure you will like it as much as I do

Little Paradise

Shelly and Bobby did a very good job refurbishing the apartments. New bed, comfy mattress, new couch, new paint, new decorations - everything feels fresh and in good taste. The dry lockers, with a lot of hangers for your wet gear, water tanks in front for washing and rinsing, large alley for parking your truck right in front of your apartment, all rooms facing away from the main street (the top ones have sea-view) - everything was carefully designed for the best diver experience.
This is our second time here and definitely will return. 
The location is perfect for us - not too close to the center, so it's quiet, but not too far also - 5-10 minutes drive. It's also closer to the north diving sites, which are our favorites.
Shelly and Bobby are very accommodating hosts, very friendly and helpful - keep up the good work, guys! :)

Perfect location for divers

We greatly enjoyed our experience at Divers Paradise.  The owners, Bobby and Shelly, were so friendly and helpful with whatever we needed. I would highly recommend staying at Divers Paradise for anyone looking for a great location and beautiful room. 

Wonderful experience 

This was our second stay at Diver's Paradise, and although the first time was outstanding, this time was even better. First, the owners Bobby and Shelly are just wonderful, not only because they are divers themselves as well and just all-around great people, but they genuinely care that every guest has a clean VERY comfortable and enjoyable stay. There are too many great things to list but here are the highlights. Comfort: After a day of diving (or snorkeling, hiking, or just sightseeing) it is essential to have a comfortable place to relax and sleep. They have made significant investments in very comfortable furniture to that effect. Not the usual 90-degree angle wood frames with futon cushions, proper couches and chairs! The beds are new and very high quality, so a perfect night's sleep is guaranteed. Location: Just north of town so you don’t have to contend with the noise and traffic, but only a few minutes away when it’s time for dining out and other activities. There is a great grocery store within walking distance, and you are essentially sitting at the gateway to the entire northern array of dive sites. For divers: It doesn’t get any better, even at higher price points. There is a spectacular house reef within walking distance, you could gear up at the apartment, walk 2 minutes, rent your tank at the water’s edge from 4 Wheel Diving (FANTASIC outfit to arrange diving excursions or certifications too) and head out to the drop, all of 50 yards out! For all your diving excursions, at the end of the day, there is a drive-up rinse station, when you are done there, your dedicated parking space at your apartment has a dive locker so you can put your gear away with zero steps into a private, secure and ventilated area. The name says it all, we will continue to return every year!. 

Perfect. Run by divers for divers (and non-divers too!)

We chose this wonderful accommodation based on positive reviews and It did not disappoint us. We spent a pleasant 11 days here. Even before our arrival, Shelly sent us important and practical information. We got everything we needed, we got more than we needed, even Shelly lent us a cooler box for our trips around the island. These great people recommended us a good restaurant, diving sites and other interesting places to see.
Our departure was late in the evening and we could stay until that time.

Friendly people


We spent 11 days in February 2023 and I must say we were completely satisfied, much more than expected.

We are a family of 4, we have 2 children over 16 years old. We rented one of the biggest apartments

The accommodation itself is located a little outside the city center, which also means that this part of the city is very quiet, and we really prefer this.
It is ideally suited for divers, there is a separate parking space in front of each apartment and there is a room for diving equipment close by, also one for each apartment. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, so if you are also undemanding to luxury food, you can easily cook a meal every day. I originally thought this would be the biggest downside of the holiday, but it wasn't that difficult or annoying (I mean cooking itself :-).
Right next to the apartment building is a shelter with seating and a grill, which we could use, and we did, so eating was even easier.

The nearest supermarket is approximately 2 minutes away by car, and is well stocked. There are other supermarkets in the city, also perfectly stocked, it is about 5-10 minutes away by car.

The apartment was clean and perfectly suitable for our purposes. Around the middle of our stay, they completely cleaned it for us. Whenever we need something, clean towel or so, we've just asked for and Shelly or Bobby fulfilled request.

Shelly and Bobby, the owners, are very nice people. Whenever we needed anything, they helped and advised us. They advised us about renting a car and also advised us about the dive center, which is only a few hundred meters from the apartments. You could probably find a cheaper dive center in the city, but this one suited us perfectly because it's location make scuba diving tank changing much more easier.

Divers' Paradise Apartments bonaire - a perfect choice

Diver's paradise is a small and lovely property located just north of Kralendijk in a calm residential area surrounded by palm trees. The most noise you'll hear is the wind gently rushing through its leaves. All units are very bright, airy, and clean. All have AirCo, fully equipped kitchen , Tv, internet, and private parking. All this very close to a supermarket, restaurants, and a Dive Center, and at 15 min drive to the center of Kralendijk. A wonderful small and cozy property where to relax and spend some unforgettable diving vacations!

This is really a Diver's little paradise

We were so pleased to have chosen Divers Paradise apartments as our place to stay on Bonaire. The apartment was clean, spacious and well-equipped. Having a place to rinse our dive kit and store it safely was really useful. 
Bobby and Shelly took the place on 7 months ago - they are super helpful and really friendly. 
There is good AC in the bedroom and netting at all the windows so not much problem with mosquitoes. 
We'd certainly stay there again if we're ever back in Bonaire!
