It‘s one of the hostals all up the hill, allow yourself a 45 min climb with all your luggage, breathtaking. The climb to the Imperio is worthwhile because it has one of the greatest views, imperio has a 1 top view 2 window room on the first floor, You will wake up with first beams of sunrise on your eyes. The owner is friendly and helpful in spanish. Common shower, warm only at certain evening hours. The WiFi was not reliable, turned off after 9 pm in the evening. Good breakfast at the neighbour‘s garden.

High up the hill with great view, some limits

All is falce, there aren't toilets in all the rooms, the wifi never works and there aren't hot water.

It's just a fraud and the owners are very unpolite.

It should be forbbiden or banned by tripadvisor because the advisment it's falce

Don't go there!!

For a start, this hotel isn't particularly cheap as we first believed. They serve food here and we decided to have tea, what a mistake that was. The food was very expensive and gave us food poisoning. Unfortunately one of us didn't make it to the bathroom in time and was sick outside in the garden. The owner came storming into our room shouting and very aggressively told us to leave the island immediately. 
It ruined our trip, which we were really looking forward to. So we urge you to find somewhere else to stay to explore this beautiful island.

Worst experience in South America.

I booked this on Booking.com and paid way, way too much ($43).  Yumani was fairly empty (some hostels were closed), the hotel itself was mostly empty, and I can't imagine that a room like this costs more than $15, unless I just don't get it.  The room was a basic room with a decent bed and some simple decorations.  And no electrical outlets (although it was well lit.)  It's been a long time since I stayed in a place where the shower simply drains onto (i.e., all over) the bathroom floor.  On the plus side, even though it was freezing cold in Yumani, the room was warm.

Okay, if you pay a lot less.

We booked a "queen room with private shower and bathroom" based on the description and detail provided online. What we got was very different. We got a tiny room with no curtains (we had to hang towels for privacy) and no electrical sockets. The bathroom and shower were shared. To get to the bathroom, we had to walk through the dark courtyard. This was really inconvenient during the night. Hot water was only available at specific times and before night time. 
The lady who met us was very nice and helpful and the hotel had nice views. However for the price we paid and considering what we thought we were getting, we really could not recommend this hotel for value or comfort.

What you see online is not what you get!!

The view from our central top floor room (#12) was to live for, especially near sunset.  Just below the island's ridge, Hotel Imperio del Sol has a great view eastward across Lago Titicaca, including both Isla de la Luna and the snow-covered mountains on the far side of the lake.  Our double room with private bath was so nicely decorated that it took as a while to realize it was basically a basic room (with no electric outlets).  The electric-heated shower was unusable because the water was literally hot enough to scald (with the heat on) or freezing cold with the heat off.  US$70/nite, including breakfast and supper at the restaurant across the way seemed an excessive off-season price--perhaps why the hotel was nearly empty.  Rooms with shared bath and breakfast only are US$35.  Had the view from our room not been so extraordinary, we would have been quite upset--and many rooms didn't seem to have that view.  WiFi was sometimes available, albeit not from the room itself.   Note that, as with any hotel on or near the ridge, you must hike just over 1 km up an average 20% grade to reach Imperio del Sol--mules are said sometimes to be available to carry tourist luggage, but we saw none.
