My husbend and I really enjoyed our stay, I loved the warm water spa and my husbend enjoyed the sona. The pool looked very inviting but the water was to cold for me since we are going into winter here. Great staff who are very helpful and a tasty breakfast. We hope to stay here again sometime soon. Can't beat the price either we only paid $45 us dollars for the two of us

Very cozy little rooms complete with a full kitchen.

Stayed one night in a matrimonial room for 70$. Its totally disappointing for that price... everything is really old, except of the bed everything seems to be 20 years old, dirty and damaged. the computer in the lobby doesn't work either. the room is quite dark and not very friendly. we expected sth nicer for that price and a 4 star hotel. the swimming pool and sauna etc are nice but not in the hotel building itself but 100m down the street.

Expensive & old

The place was well stocked and the air and heat worked well.  This is located in a neighborhood and just too far from any activity.  The room was clean and the staff helpful, but the pool and hot tug and sauna are not at the hotel they are several yards down the road.  If you want silene this is the place or if you need to go to the US Counclet office.

Quite but too far

Unlike most hotels which provide the client with items such as various towels, more than one roll of toilet paper, or complimentary food and beverages it was a disappointment to see this hotel offered none of such services. To add to this, free wi-fi is advertised at this hotel and sadly there is none at times or it is very poor which is unfortunate to people who need it to make contact with loved ones or perhaps complete certain tasks which require Internet connection. At my stay the staff found a stain on one of the towels and before even washing it the staff stated it was a "permanent stain" and that we had to pay $20 for it which was quite ridiculous. After informing the staff that the use of bleach would take out this so-called permanent stain the staff chose to disagree with the customer. After discussing this incident with the manager of the hotel, she chose to not comply with the client because it was "out of her control" in which everything run in the hotel should be in her hotel. Due to the hotel still wanting to charge for the towel after the discussion with the manager we took things into our own hands and washed the towels with bleach which we had to pay for ourselves since the hotel didn't offer any and as expected the "permanent stain" came out. And so as the saying goes, the customer is always right. Overall, the poorest of hotel service.

Terrible, terrible service!!!!!

We stayed here one night in February prior to flying to Brazil as part of a 5-week holiday. We have stayed in a variety of accommodation, from cheap hostels to high-end hotels. We arrived at 12pm to be told by staff that the room was not available until 3pm. I asked if the room was to be ready any earlier could we check-in? I was told very rudely that the room was ready but the policy was that check-in was not until 3pm. So we had to wait for 3 hours on principle, there was no effort to welcome us or be accommodating. The hotel is advertised as 4* however the rooms are very outdated. It looks, smells and feels like an old peoples' retirement village. It's certainly hugely overpriced for the facilities that are available. The only bonus was the use of swimming pool, which is located at the sports club down the road. We were hoping to have breakfast before we left (which was advertised as opening at 7am) but we were kept waiting for over half an hour for the kitchen to open before we finally gave up as we had a flight to catch. Maybe it was a blessing as there was a sign in the toilets reminding staff to wash their hands! Finally a word about the location - we weren't too bothered about being a little out of town as we just wanted somewhere to relax before catching our flight. However if that is important it's worth noting that this hotel is in the middle of nowhere. I was told it was too dangerous to walk anywhere outside the compound. I had to take a taxi to the bank. Wifi only works in reception.
