Great location, right next to the Museo Etnografica and not a far walk at all from San Francisco Square. I arrived 1 hour before check in time but they let me check in early. Showers were warm/hot though there was only one temperature and it was a little cramped. Some parts of the bathroom were a bit dingy but mostly quite clean! I booked a 3 bed dorm but they put me in a dorm with 2 beds, and I happened to be the only guest that night. Staff was friendly and helpful, and when I was waiting for BoilviaHop for 15 min in the lobby, they offered to call them (but then BoilviaHop showed up).

The Hostel had extremely hard beds, cold rooms and no secure locket inside the room. They had messed up our booking and later overcharged us.

I've spent a month in this hostal in La Paz. Rooms without windows. Bathroom with strange but functional gas heating system. Kitchen badly equipped. Location good. Quite place, except during the day when you can expect noise from the street (usually demonstrations). Stuff extremely unfriendly and unprofessional (the only polite person is the cleaning lady). Very popular place for Chinese and Koreans (usually big groups that occupy kitchen for a long time). However, it's pretty cheap comparing to other places.

Cheap hostal, good location, unfriendly staff, poor kitchen

We went here in 2009, everything was clean and fine. We went back at this hostel and we were stolen from our room, it was a little money.

We had a doubt and we let our bags at the reception the day of our departure. And they stole from our bags all our toiletries, sun creams and clothing !

Robbers !

Stayed here for a few nights in La Paz, location was perfect within walking distance to all the main attractions. We contacted the hostel to let them know we would be arriving on an overnight flight at 2am but when we arrived the staff seemed very upset by our late arrival even though it had been confirmed over email. I assume there was a miscommunication, I just mention this in case anyone else is arriving late, I would suggest re-confirming the arrival time prior to arrival. The hostel was clean and there was enough showers for the number of rooms. It was nice to have a sink in the bathroom. My main complaint is that the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable.  Would recommend simply based on price and location.

Good place for value

Decent place to stay while your in la paz. Comfy beds, hot showers and a clean well equipped kitchen. Workers are nice but a bit slow in doing anything. Very chilled place which is nice if you actually want to rest. However not too many bathrooms and you may be waiting in the morning. Wifi also doesn't reach all parts of the hostel.

Decent place and not too pricey

We really looked for this place and made sure we could stay here. It was cheap, within the city and near places to eat. They had kitchen spacious for all the guest to use, incredibly fast internet and a heater room. The staff gave us a quiet room near the kitchen which was favorable to us. A cleaner staff comes in the morning and ensure they clean all. They are very serious with cleanliness, staff were accomdating and very professional. We would recommend this place for sure.
