Villa Saracena is a great place! It's like a private apartment/villa with a fully equipped kitchen (including oven, microwave and blender), hot water available the whole day, great views from the terrace and of course the pool! It is well constructed, hotel like. We were the only ones staying here when we were there, so highly recommended for couples or groups of friends (check out the 7 person villa), not a place to meet people though.. Location is a bit far from town (30-40 min walk), but there are taxis (ca. 20 Bs) and minivans in the street during the day. Sometimes you have to wait a couple of minutes, but we never had any problems finding transport. For this reason it is good to bring your own food. We went shopping at the market in Coroico on Saturday and this was perfect. The family living on the property is very kind and helpful and will assist you where needed. Note that they only speak Spanish. The owner does speak English and was very helpful when we wanted to reschedule our stay! Note there is no Wifi (nowhere in Coroico except for some restaurants at certain times...) We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Saracena!
