We stayed here from the 29th December 2019 to 31st December 2019.
Our stay at Haven Resort touched our hearts in many many ways! Where do I begin? We were traveling from Hyderabad, India to Bhutan and were heading there to celebrate my partner's birthday! The staff did not leave any stone unturned. They went out of their way to do up the room as per my requests. I don't I have enough words to thank them from the bottom of my heart. Their kindness will nearly put you to tears!
The staff will take care of you so well, you will find it extremely difficult to leave the property. 
Coming to our stay: The room we chose had the most beautiful view of the mountains. The room is extremely spacious consists of apt and comfortable seating options across the room. The washrooms were well curated as well. 
Food: The breakfast menu options were quite extensive, which was great! Their banana pancakes were the best we've had so far. Must try!

To all the travelers, if Haven Resort is one of the places you've shortlisted, I highly highly recommend to look no further and definitely stay here.

Best hotel with the kindest and most loving staff

We were booked at this hotel however after we registered we decided not to stay there.  The rooms were very big and offered a beautiful view of Paro from above. They had very large windows.  It was a perfect place for people who wanted to get some peace and quiet.  However, we left because there was no TV and we didn't like the location.  In order to get up to the hotel, the road was unpaved and full of ruts.  Once you arrived you can see that it was an okay hotel but not for us.

This was probably the highlight of our stay in Bhutan. I absolutely loved the resort and everything it offers. 
1. Excellent excellent rooms with some very fine oriental decor. Just loved the way the rooms were decor’ed and constructed
2. The rooms are very comfortable and kitted with multiple air-conditioning and heating options. We had a mountain view room which was worth the extra money we paid for that option during booking
3. The food quality, taste and options were amazingly good and the chef would discuss the menu with us much in advance. Honestly, the breakfast made by the chef was some of the best food I have had. Truly mindblown with the food and service
4. The staff is so well groomed and courteous and entertained all our ad-hoc requests and dished out some really good service. Very very impressed. 
5. The hotel is slightly far from the main city of Paro and one needs a taxi to get to the town. Also there arent too many signages from the main road to get to the property so you definitely need a guide/driver to reach the property
6. Be aware that the rooms do not have any television which was a blessing for us as we caught up on a lot of reading and enjoyed the stay peacefully
7. Small thing but our driver/guide was very happy about us staying here as unlike most luxury properties this one offers accomodation and meals for your driver/guide also. 

Overall, this is my definitely my go-to-property for all future visits to Paro. Loved every minute of our stay here and kudos to the staff for their exemplary service.

An Excellent Property with a truly luxurious experience

The hotel was very quiet at this time of year, but staff was helpful and organised a guide and driver for me at the last moment, and the restaurant has nice thai options. The views from the rooms are amazing and serene, the rooms also being set up to fully enjoy the view with a little living room with thai cushions laid out in front of a big window.

Great stay in a charming location

Stayed in the hotel for a night.Rooms were clean and bathrooms,too,had heaters.The view from our room was beautiful with mountains all around.Food was really good.Thai food.Our breakfast was packed as we left early in the morning.The staff were very helpful and polite.Good place to relax and meditate.Very peaceful place as it is little away from the town.

Clean and comfortable

Great room, great service. The room had a great view of the mountain, and the room was very clean, spacious and warm. Nothing beats heater in the toilet in the cold weather.  1 minor flaw, we need hot water and was told to use the coffee maker instead, which takes ages and no instructions on how to. We called the housekeeping for electric kettle but was told to use the coffee maker.

Best Stay

This resort has the magnificent view of the mountain. The room has a big glass window to enjoy the sacred mountain. The resort has two private rooms for onsen-style bath, using heated stones. These rooms also equip with good view of the mountain. It is very relaxing atmosphere. 
The food is excellent, particularly if you like Thai food, since the owners are Thai.
The room is also decorated in Thai style, but get along with the surrounding Bhutanese culture. 
The resort is a bit outside town, but in exchange for beauty and serenity of nature. This is the place you can relax, be with nature, and self reflection. 
I will be definitely go back again, if the opportunity arises.

Blissful at Haven Resort

Haven resort is located away from town and it’s on a valley over looking hill top. The name itself speaks. It’s good for those who wants to be away from town and city from noise pollution. It takes about 30 minutes from the airport.
Thai cuisine is best served as it’s run by a Thai.
Rest is history
