Comfortable and convenient. Beautiful view of the ocean. Easy to find and navigate out of.

Jean and Steve were very responsive to any request!  They suggested a wonderdul tour to go see Scarlet macaws and great places to eat!  She was kind and helpful.  The property is super comfortable and had everything we needed!!  Hope to stay there again in the future!!

Room was very clean and loved the full sized stove and refrigerator. Nice to have a dock to walk out on, as well as a hammock and beach chairs outside. Beach was clean. Area was very quiet. Hosts/owners were very accommodating and friendly/helpful...sent me a phone number when reservation was made, as well as great directions.

We loved our stay at Coco’s. It is right on the beach. We loved the sunrises and the moon shining through the palm trees while we hung out on the deck or the lounge chairs, and the long walks on the beach. The owners were super accommodating and helpful when booking tours and whatever else we needed. Our cabana was clean and well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. Beach towels, kayaks, fishing rods, life jackets all available! We rented a golf cart for our stay so we could explore the entire peninsula. Transportation is needed if you want to go to Placencia City or Maya Beach. It’s not the ritz but if you are looking for a place to hang your hat for a few days, we highly recommend Coco’s.

Great location, close enough to the action, but far enough to be peaceful. Bed was comfortable, cabana was very clean, lots of towels, and the view from the private deck was spectacular. Jean and her husband were wonderful hosts! She helped us book excursions and truly made my birthday a special one!

Location Location Location !!! This quiet and comfortable home is the perfect spot to enjoy all the village has to offer, steps away from the party strip but close enough to enjoy a relaxing vibe of Placencia’s charming fisherman and snorkel/dive village. The home offers privacy making it perfect for solo travelers and families alike. Home also features a convenient kitchen for those who like to cook and comfy beds, along with private pool and deck area to enjoy some family time.
Located in the heart of the district and just off the sidewalk (ocean side), home to 5 star restaurants and local beach bars to cool off and partake in cold libations, fresh seafood. The famous sidewalk is also dotted with shops and tour guides. You really can walk everywhere…slow down and soak in this Caribbean lifestyle. The Host is amazing too, making this my favorite place to stay in Placencia. 

Mirasol has it all.  Surrounded by a privacy wall and garden area, Mirasol also has a private pool with a grill and outdoor seating area under a tiki hut.  

Outside of the gate, it is literally 50 steps to the beach, to stunning sunrises each morning, and to Toucan Jack’s, a beach bar with great vibes.  

Mirasol is a 5 minute walk to everywhere…the grocery store, excellent Placencia Village restaurants, the pier, and several shops along The Placencia Sidewalk.  

As for the apartments, I stayed in the 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment and found it clean with everything in good working order.  The bed was comfortable, showers were hot, air con and fans cooled the apartment nicely.  The kitchen had everything needed, and I loved the full deck with its hammocks, couch, chairs, and dining table.  

Placencia Village was a quick 25 min flight on Tropic Air from Belize City.  And it was a perfect place to launch for scuba and snorkeling and the underwater wonders of the world’s 2nd largest barrier reef.  

I plan to go back to Mirasol with family and friends and can’t say enough good about the location and accommodations. The value for the money is outstanding. 

Our family spent 2 weeks at Mirasol in Placentia in January. The house is very clean and comfortable. The location is very good as it is a short walk to great restaurants like the Cozy Corner, Barefoot Bar, Rick's, etc. Just out the gate is the beach. Having laundry in each unit makes it advantageous to pack light. We had many a relaxing afternoon around the pool. We can't wait to go back next winter!

We loved our visit to Mirasol. My wife and I stayed in one of the 1-bedroom apartments on the main level for a week. 
The communication leading up to our stay was clear and concise. By the time we arrived, all we needed to do was utilize the handy lock box to gain access to the apartment. No need to meet anyone. 
The location is a real highlight. Being near the end of the peninsula means that the house is just a short walk to the majority of restaurants, bars and the pier. The main boardwalk is just a few steps outside of the door which will connect you to most of the beach-side businesses. There is also a grocery store just as you hit Placencia Road.
The beach itself is only a minute walk. Toucan Jack's is quite close. They have a swim-up bar and lovely staff. It's an easy place to spend an afternoon or five. 
Our goal was to spend time unwinding, which we certainly achieved. The property was quiet and the back deck was a wonderful place to spend mornings reading or afternoons in the pool. 
I would certainly recommend staying at Mirasol.

Mirasol is a great place to stay with multiple sizes of groups. The house can be rented all at once or as separate units. 2 separate 1-bedroom / 1-bathroom units on the lower level and 1 upper unit 3-bedroom / 2-bathroom option. Each unit has a full kitchen, living room area, washer/dryer, and separated outdoor space. There is common area outside with a pool, a covered table with chairs, and a grill. It's a good option if you are traveling with a group but want separate living space. Each of the lower units has a queen size sleeper sofa as well.  All outdoor areas are secured with a fence and gates.  The house is centrally located in Placencia and really easy to walk to get groceries, go to restaurants, bars, and shops. It's quiet at night, but plenty of nightlife to safely walk to as well. There are multiple tour companies within walking distance as well. One thing to consider is that the house is located on Placencia's world famous sidewalk, so you will need to walk a bit to the house from any vehicle drop-off, but it is not that far. Just make sure you have bags that roll! I've stayed multiple times and each unit is clean and comfortable. This is a great, low-cost option and I will certainly be back.

Mirasol - Perfect Location

Fantastic, centrally located house right off the beach!

Mirasol is in the perfect location which is the reason I'm a repeat client.  Easy access to the beach as well as all restaurants, bars, grocery stores and shops.  I was with 2 friends and the upstairs villa was perfect for the 3 of us (just as it could be for 3 couples).  We all had our own rooms with 2 baths.  Plenty of space to lounge on the balcony, by the pool or in our living room.  Laundry facilities if needed and air conditioning as well as quiet ceiling fans.  I felt quite at home here and would definitely recommend as well as go back.  I would say this definitely meets the gold standard.

This place is great.  30 steps to the water,  you can walk to everything..  The people make you feel like family from day one..  The shower was hot, the air conditioning was cold, it cooled  the  rooms  down 
quickly.  The bed was very comfortable. Everything you need is supplied (except for food and drinks of course).
