It is a beautiful lodge and farm, we cannot wait to go again. The staff is friendly and did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.  The food was amazing and plentiful, we never felt hungry and enjoyed the views from the restaurant.

We went to Copal Tree Lodge for our honeymoon and had the best experience! Even though it was their rainy season when we went in August, it was sunny most of the time and we were still able to do all of the excursions we signed up for. There was also the added bonus of the lodge being quieter, but we did meet some wonderful new friends there. The lodge is gorgeous and all of the staff are extremely friendly. The food is top tier and might have been our favorite part of the whole trip. However, the plethora of fun excursion were a top contender. I would highly recommend Copal Tree Lodge to anyone wanting to experience the wonders of the jungle.

The resort is beautiful and the staff is incredible. Food, hospitality, activities were all top notch (yoga, kayak, hiking, chocolate, rum production etc...) 
One of the best places I got to visit, I love it there and can't wait come back very soon to do it all, all over again.

The trip was incredible. I've never seen more beautiful resort in my life. The place is magical in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by magnificent views and energy. People were extremely hospitable and kind. And of course the rum was fantastic! Copalli Cacao rum is heavenly delicious, especially in Pina Coladas! The best trip!

The people and beauty are what make this place so unique and special. Everything is done with the land and people in mind. There is not a stone turned without care. Sustainability is an understatement! It’s truly magical. Wake up to the howling monkeys, indulge in the out of this world chocolate, kayak down the river to spot toucans and prehistoric sized iguanas. Tour the distillery with Desmond. The tour is a must! Relax with a good book in your lanai hammock. But maybe most importantly: Drink! All! The! Rum!! Especially if it’s with Rez and Ducky. Gio and Giselle are special humans. If you have a chance to sit and have a conversation/pick their brains (over a special meal or of course, a drink), it’ll throw your appreciation of the whole experience overboard. 
Whether you are looking to relax and reset or go on an adventure, they have it all. It truly is what you make of it! But I promise you will leave with a new sense of gratitude no matter what you do. We truly left with full hearts, minds and spirits. Thank you a million times over!

We came here for our honeymoon because we wanted to explore southern Belize. We were close to the beach, waterfalls, and Mayan ruins.  We wanted to explore Punta Gorda and  learn more about the Maya culture. Mission accomplished . 

This trip met our expectations but the accommodations were surprisingly luxurious! I felt like a pampered princess. They came in and cleaned when we left during the day and then returned in the evening to prepare the room for sleep, by closing certain blinds and removing decorative pillows.

I have never enjoyed a room so much.  The rain hitting the rooftop lulled me into a deep sleep at night.  I didn’t mind the morning rains because I could enjoy my coffee on the porch and watch nature.

Incredible jungle stay. This place is absolutely magical. From the sounds of the jungle, the drinks, the views, food and the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff!! 

We loved the cacao excursion it was very interesting and we learned a lot about chocolate making.

I would definitely come back!

This Eco friendly lodge is absolutely a hidden treasure of the south. 
The food was a dream come true- dinner was exceptional: thank you to servers Ambro and Elmer and also General Manager Walucco who made sure to check in on all guests  it was such a personal experience and we cannot wait to be back.

We are family of 7--including a 1 year old--and our stay was exceptional. the quality of service is amongst the best we have found at even 5 star resorts in other parts of the world.  the belizean people are uniformly kind, but the training and culture of the staff at Copal Tree is truly exceptional.  a five star experience to which we will return

A visit to Copal Tree Lodge is a MUST for anyone visiting Belize! Our trip was magical in every way: the staff was incomparable, the food was divine farm-to-table, and being in the jungle was incredible!

The staff were so knowledgable, warm, and welcoming: Desmond, Martin, Elon, and everyone at CTL made the trip unforgettable.

Exceeds Expectation

A magical trip, not to be missed!

We had such a great time staying at Copal Tree Lodge for our honeymoon. The Signature Canopy suite was amazing - we loved the private pool (shared by the 4 suites), the huge room and balcony, seeing the howler monkeys up close, and how we had sun for most of the day at the pool. The food was probably the best part of our stay. There are tons of different options for each meal and everything we ordered tasted incredible. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a beautiful hotel in the jungle!

Amazing trip in the jungle

My hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Copal Tree Lodge. The facility and food were fantastic. However, it was the warm and friendly staff that made our vacation memorable. A special shout-out to Elon. 👏 We took a few tours and activities from their offerings. We were impressed with the guides’ knowledge and learnt a lot about the Mayan culture and local birds (from Birding). We had a minor issue in our room. The staff and manager went above and beyond to address the issue. It was also worth mentioning that the lodge hires locals to run the operation. We felt that was important.
