The little details were amazing. The property was so clean and nice staff was so friendly. Felt like home

Vinny, the property manager was wonderful.  She took very good care of our group.  She was like family to us.  Triggerfish BNB is an excellent place to have a vacation. It was like home away from home.  We all enjoyed the BNB.  There were 8 in our group and we occupied the whole house and we loved it.

Our hostess, Vivene, was a pleasure to work with. The rooms were spotless, and the property was well-maintained. I highly recommend taking the time to enjoy her hearty breakfast before starting your day.

Vinnie is amazing!!!   We stayed one night.  We flew into Belize, spent the night and flew out in the morning to go to San Pedro.

Vinny, the BNB manager was a very gracious host. The place was very serene and peaceful. Rooms were very spacious. And the breakfast was great. Will not hesitate to come back.

We were warmly greeted by Vinny as soon as we arrived, The property is clean, comfortable and quiet. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The delicious Belizean breakfasts prepared by Vinny was a great way to start our day. We are delighted to have made a new friend in Vinny, and when our travels bring us back to Belize, we will definitely seek out this property!

A nicely maintained BnB with good proximity to the airport. Very basic but does the trick. Hostess very friendly and helpful. They’ll help with transportation from/to airport and for dinner recommendations. Not much around there though.

This BNB was amazing for our stay before flying out the next morning. Vinny was a delight. She cooked a nice breakfast for us, before heading to the airport. We had asked about transportation from the water taxi to her place and she arranged for a taxi to pick us up. The taxi driver also picked us up in the morning for the 10 min ride to the airport. . You do need to remember this is a BNB , so you will need to bring lunch and something for dinner. Unless you want to go out. There are a few local places. Would highly recommend it was quite peaceful and Vinny was a great host.

Property manager is delightful!!!  So clean and quiet. Breakfast is delicious. Book Tony for any transportation to or from airport. He is also fabulous for a day trip to Altun Ha and cave tubing. Steven is the Best guide for cave tubing!  Highly recommended!

The staff were friendly and helpful, the area is quiet and safe, the room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff arranged a taxi to and from the airport and bus terminal for us. However, one reason I booked this accommodation was that it listed that there is a restaurant on site. There is not, although it seems like there used to be. There are a couple restaurants in Ladyville but they are a bit of a walk away. Thus, the owners need to update the listing and drop the price a bit.

We stayed here as a layover before our next flight to elsewhere in Belize. It was super nice and very clean. We arrived on a Monday and many restaurants were closed and the owner helped us find a restaurant and drove us there and helped us get a return trip back at night.  One thing to note is that there is not a restaurant on the premise. We left early so I don't know if there was breakfast included. Coffee was a 'hotel' coffee pod. It would have been nice to have a properly brewed cup of coffee.The airport transport is a local cab which the BNB arranged but had no direct input into.  The cabdriver was at the airport on time and very nice. The ride from the airport to the BNB was very short but very expensive. We did mention this to the owner and it came as a surprise that it was so pricey. So beware of that...

Very Convenient! And Clean

This is our second stay here. The rooms are nice, bed is comfy, excellent shower, clean and the breakfast is home cooked.Close to the airport. Wanna go somewhere? They will contact Tony for your cab ride to go out to dinner or whatever. Also, they arranged for Tony to take us to the airport. Vinnie is always helpful and full of information.

My daughter and I traveled to Belize together for a homeschool getaway/ Christmas present! I was leery about this trip as it would just be her and I - no men- and it’s Central America after all. Cathy and Dan (the owners) were fabulous hosts, who were on site and available the entire duration. Ms Cathy or Ms Vinnie (the most beautiful and kind soul) were up and ready to prepare us breakfast every morning (at the requested time no less!) We really came to enjoy and look forward to our first meal of each day - as it got us off to a great start! Delicious! Ms Cathy turned us on to our driver … Toni… who my daughter and I used all week long. Toni was an excellent addition to our daily excursions! He picked us up and brought us back daily from our different destinations and outtings! The trip was amazing as a whole, but having a safe haven, good cooking and a reliable driver really catapulted our experience. We cannot thank you enough for your beautiful hospitality and care. Host Cathy is amazing.  Knowing we were arriving Christmas Day and that nothing would be open, she had a wonderful dinner prepared for us…on the house!  Rooms are super comfy and clean.  She also organized an airport pickup and tour of Altun Ha (through driver Tony, also a gem).  She even took the time to say goodbye as she needed to run some errands while we were preparing to depart. We’ll definitely be visiting again our next trip to Belize! Oh, and they have puppers!

I was travelling solo to Belize from Canada. I had a couple days to spare before heading to a conference on the island of Belize so I decided to stay at this gem close to the airport so I could explore the area a bit. The staff & owners are extremely accommodating and caring. I felt safe and comfortable. It was the perfect place to rest after my long travels. My room was clean and the shower was huge! The pool was right outside my room and was refreshing during the humid weather. Highly recommend!

We felt so relaxed and had the opportunity to rest exceptionally before our flight, after being 8 days in Placencia. The BnB on Triggerfish is soooo comfortable. Everything was impeccable and it is located right behind the airport. The breakfast was great and big enough to start our journey back home. We highly recommend it.
