i had to wait 20-30 minutes for a free beer while I played the slots. The restauarant was great, the youngman who waited on me was very attentive and professional. I had lamb shanks and it was delicious. Im going back in August 2018 and will visit them again.

POOR SERVICE Except

The casino and hotel is in Corozal, Belize, but the country acts like it's in Mexico, only Mexicans get privileges, if coming anywhere from Belize you got to show your passport to get to the hotel, if you're an American citizen you got to pay $20. Every time getting back and forth to the hotel, except if you're going over the Mexican border  from the hotel then you don't. The country of Belize don't give its own citizens privileges, they treat them as if we are visitors, and the Mexicans can come and go in our own country as they please, while the Mexicans does not treat Belizeans like that, Belizeans even have to have their car tires sprayed, when entering their borders, while we don't let Mexicans spray their car tires when they come into our country, they can also bring in disease on their tires, it's all for money from the Mexicans, because we're not even sure what they spray on the tires it can be water and they claim it's insecticide, going back to Princess Hotel and Casino, we signed up to stay 14 nights, but only stayed 1 night because of paying $20. at the Corozal, Belize Border each time we want to go back into Corozal, for each American citizen, (if your passport don't say you're a Belizean citizen) if it's an American passport, and also the casino is all about Mexican, you got to play either in Mexican pesos or American money, and you got to let them know what money exchange you're using in case you win they don't pay you in Belize dollars, that's the only time they use Belize money, because then you get cheated and paid less, if you don't let them know you used American dollars, also there the freezone right next to the casino, but only Mexicans can shop there freely, and take it back to their country, Belizeans are not allowed to shop and take it back into Belize, they have to go through customs and subject to be taking away anything they buy, we just couldn't stay there 14 days for going thru customs each time and subject to search all our suitcase each time we had it with us, when we did not even go over to Mexico


Nice hotel and casino, but horrible to get there if staying in Corozal, Belize or anywhere in Belize, 

Nice clean rooms with good air conditioning and comfortable beds. Many channels to choose from on cable listing. Staff were courtious and very friendly also. The only downfall was that I could not get internet in the room because of the distance from the router but other than that the staff were very friendly.

Buisness Trip

Stayed here for 2 nights with a high school tour group. Rooms were clean, air conditioned (mostly-some rooms had updated units, some had tired/old AC units) and amazing views from each room. The pool area was great, but closed early (5pm). Had an incident of one of our chaperons forgetting her wallet and the staff found it and coordinated its return with a friend of our tour guide- nothing was missing from the wallet. 
Breakfast was fantastic- get there early if you want eggs from the egg station. 
A few reasons for my 4 star rating: Wifi was spotty, the lobby tended to be smoky from the casino and the ATM in the lobby rarely functioned. The taxi service was super expensive as well- over $20 to get to a nearby ATM in 15 minutes.

Great location and wonderful staff

We went to the hotel and it looks fine to us, but first we went to check out the free zone..

We went from Belize to the free zone because some people said that this was a real good place for shopping because of the low prices (duty free). When we came to this place and went into some shops a couldn't say this is nice. We looked for new shoes and the prices where higher than i have seen in Mexico OR Belize. The shops are loaded with al sorts of crappy stuff for way to high prices!! I like to shop in foreign countries and did it a lot, but never saw a crappy place like this!! On our way we went to Chetumal and got into a great mall (ask for Liverpool) with all kind of shops and much better prices and better stuff, go here if you want to shop and avoid the free zone! 
What a waste of time this was!!
